Brown Horse Inn in Calderdale

Have been here 5 times as it has very good food. On a table that was very drafty and a strobe light all the time. Came out and the temperature was higher than in side. I had a cold back and did not feel good. The strobe gave me head ache. Spent time inside recovering as I did not feel good. Told the waiter but no response. The food is still good but the place is not good for people with health problems as thy do not care.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink whilst on a walk. We were warmly welcomed and showed to the only free table as it was busy!The service was excellent, the food promptly arrived and was delicious and the beer was fizzing as it should be.No problem recommending here to others.

Another superb meal, as usual with superb service from the hosts. Am sure these were the cleanest plates I've seen so thanks to Max in the engine room!

Great quirky pub and the food was delicious, impeccable service in lovely surrounding. We will definitely be back 👍

I love this place and it's our favourite place to eat. Warm and cosy atmosphere, with plenty of interesting items to occupy your glances.The menu is larger than expected but have tried many items from it and never been disappointed. The Brown Horse is absolutely spot on, great food, the best draught beer and the service is to die for. The only downside I have is that they run out of Sticky Toffee pudding before I had a chance to taste it. So it must be good...🙃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Amazing menu. Fabulous pub, and gorgeous food. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was very busy but hospitality have it hard so we just had a few drinks until our food came. Also decorated really nicely for Christmas. Keep up the good work! ❤️

Excellent. So much choice on the menu. I had the fish cake and it was really tasty. Excellent service and reasonable prices. It's closed on Mon and Tue. Busy today Weds, would recommend booking a table. Would definitely recommend.

Very tasty & enjoyable food in indeed, especially the salmon dish. Swift, responsive & friendly service along with reasonable prices. I also very much liked the themed look. It's a must visit.
