First time diner, but definitely not the last.Solid, classy menu, beautifully presented, with great service + ambience. Can't think what more one could ask of a great restaurant...

Fantastic little gem on the outskirts of Halifax really lovely tasting food served with a touch of artistic flair. The food is excellent and the chefs more than happy to slightly tweak his menu to your taste. More than happy to recommend and will be returning to sample more of the menu.

Small restaurant with nice decor and good atmosphere. Very welcoming and a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Now to the food... amazing...eaten at alot of restaurants all over the u.k and this place is on par with some of the high end ones..will definitely be back..

Superb in every way. Ambience, food & drinks all superb. However, beware, they only accept cash or bank transfer & they don't tell you until it's time to pay. We were thrown into disarray a bit by this for a few minutes!

Wow - I cannot get over how amazing the food is here, everything was done to perfection. The whole dining experience including the service were fantastic.

Had a beautiful meal here, the food was excellent. Four of us dined and we were all very impressed. Portion sizes just right and food served nice and hot, very well presented. The staff were very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend

We dined here last night and was disappointed not to see anything related to Valentine's even a play on the menu would of been nice.Top marks too the lovely surroundings and excellent waiting staff.My hubby had a perfectly cooked Rack of Lamb and I had the Venison that sadly was hard too cut and even harder to eat has it was soo chewy! I left half and at £22 a pop was disappointing..Also the small ramekin of veg between 2 was a little tight too.We had a dessert each the only criticism there was the wedge of shop bought shortbread on mine that you expect to see in a pub not a restaurant..Overall a pleasant night that sadly could of been better..

A Quality EstablishmentThree of us visited this place for the first time and were blown away. A great chalked up menu that changes often. Food was delicious. I loved my lobster ravioli and venison, with black pudding neeps and tatties. Wonderful atmosphere and great service from the efficient and personable Jess. Highly recommended!
