Frangoz in Calderdale

Very disappointed at the service provided by Frangoz. I was told the food would be ready in 30 mins but when I arrived to collect it I had to wait a further 15 minutes. On top of this, I got home to realise I had been given only 6 / 10 of the cans I had ordered and paid for. When I rang back to alert them on this issue, the very rude man who answered the phone told me okay they will be sent out, but he didn’t even ask me an address or anything. I rang back to confirm he had the address and he said actually I can’t give them to you as we don’t have a delivery driver. Absolutely ridiculous that he even agreed in the first place, charged me for the drinks and then told me there was nothing they could do - even tho I couldn’t go back as I had already made the journey once and waited for so long! Their service is absolutely awful and I won’t be going back here again!

Decided to give this place a go after seeing the Heyman review on YoutubeHad a look at the reviews here, which didn't seem great.Went with my kids, 8 and 11. It was a 1/2 hour driveGot there, found some cheap parking closeby and in we went!Place was smart, clean and the chap who took my order was pleasant enough. I appreciated his patience as the kids made their choices... eventually!Turned out they didn't take cards, but he was kind enough to get on with my food as I went to find a cash machine which was very close..phew!!Ordered the following:12" Kebab stuffed tandoori chicken PizzaPeri Chicken BurgerPlain Chicken Burger1/2 Peri ChickenSeating upstairs was good, but a wipe of the tables would have been appreciated. No biggy, but still it's the small things..Waited about 20 mins for the food to arrive to the tune of 'Dad, we're starving!' Not surprised as I'd only given them some fruit at lunch...So the food...8 year old dived at the pizza. Turned out that the crust was 1/2 cheese, 1/2 kebab. He scoffed 2 slices quickly although he only usually eats one. This is a good sign...11 year old loved the plain burger, but 'complained' that there were too many chips most of which she brought home. The burger had gone, and she was (unusually) happy. Again a good thingMy Peri burger was delicious!! Nice soft bun, tender and tasty chicken, nice sauce and good salad. I'm going back for another one of these. Again, a good sign as I don't like wasting money.. I did eat all my chips, and was very full!!The Peri chicken was well, just good. Not as awesome as everything else, but still good. You'd eat it, enjoy it, but probably wouldn't go back for it. You would for everything elseAnd the pile of dipping sauces were very nice too!!So, we were happy, came home with over half a pizza, chips and a Peri chicken legSo, if you're unsure about the reviews, but want to try somewhere new, I'd take a drive down, go Saturday at 4pm, and fill your bootsIt's likely you'll see us there tooEnjoy!!

My go to place in Halifax. The best grilled chicken burgers. Simple and tasty. Cant go wrong.

Best takeaway in Halifax, best service, quality and delicious food. Polite staff and management, beautiful and best sitting system as well. I recommend everyone to come and taste the food. You will get wonderful experience.

Pretty good food but it was a little slow (mostly due to how busy it was, which shows that the food is good!)

Great food and great customer service. Keep it up lads just improve on your deliveries food sometimes is cold but rest is spot on.

Heard alot about Frangoz over the years so went up with the kids had a verity of things the place was smaller than I thought food was good quality but only disappointed was that we eat inside and the burgers were coldish. Do recommend this place we had burgers that were ok, stir fry donor was good, fries chicken was ok and the pizza is much recommend stuff crust. Got a boneless box, definitely put me off. The chicken pieces weren’t hot or fresh at all, tasted like they had been microwaved.Only thing that was fresh was the fries to be honest.Wait time for food was only a few minutes so must’ve been too good to be true.

A nice place to eat from, but very long waiting times!The burgers here are much better than they used to be in the past - they're chunky and go down well with chilli sauce. The chips aren't anything special and the wings are really good.The downside would be the lack of drinks with the meals, lack of grilled burgers and the history of very long waiting times.They are also terrible at forgetting items you've ordered, even though they have quite a selection of staff on hand.The food is tasty, but some items on the menu don't warrant their price tag.
