Golden dragon in Calderdale

Ordered food on the phone and told them I was gonna come pick it up.When I arrived they told there was no more rice and that they gave my food to someone else because he ordered more things than me so rather than call me back I walked about 15-20 mins for nothing.

Was consistently good (for 20+ years) then occasional mistakes since being ran by new management, now it seems to be getting worse each and every time we order. I don't know if they are using cheaper ingredients or inexperienced chefs (neither seems to stop the prices going up every few months) but I've gone from ordering at least once a week to barely monthly.Review based on collection - would be less for delivery. Drivers can be seen with 2-3 orders and if you are last expect cold sweaty food.

Not the best experience, food was ok but not up to standard with other takeaways, when I called back because I got pork instead of king prawn THE PERSON AT THE COUNTER PUT THE PHONE DOWN!!!!!Would not be coming here again

Ave price £5.60 for a main (chips & rice £2 each are charged seperately, but serves two).Good quality and quick service.

Been ordering from here for years, now all of a sudden they say we’re out of the ordering distance (we aren’t) and really don’t give a stuff they’ve lost our custom. Considering the food isn’t that good, I’m surprised they can be soo lapse with their customer relations.

Absolutely love the food, by far the best Chinese in Calderdale, The menu and online ordering system is very professional and easy to navigate, if you don't like to order online you can order in the store or via the phone. We wont use anywhere else. Delivery or Collection available. Never had and problems when we ordered a very big order because we had friends over the wait time was minimal and our friends complimented the food too.

Gorgeous food. The starters are amazing, especially the satay chicken skewers which come with the most delicious satay dipping sauce. Mains also fab, always fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection.

Oh dear!This has been a good takeaway for such a long time. But something has changed??Forty pounds worth of food ready in 10 min’s. Food was bland and obviously microwave heated.Bad experience starts on entry. Scruffy and unclean.Never going back again..

My favourite Chinese takeaway! Tried a few different ones but they’re never as good as The New Golden Dragon. We order once a week and it’s always lovely food and a fab service. Delivery drivers are always friendly too. Highly recommend!

Easy to order and pay online. Our food arrived piping hot and bang on time, and the delivery driver was lovely. Generous portions that were tasty and fresh. Would definitely recommend.
