Harveys of Halifax in Calderdale

I needed a dress for a wedding and decided to go to Harvey's. I was looked after by a wonderful lady from Phase Eight and she couldn't have been more helpful. She understood what I was looking for and made me feel like a valued customer.

Lovely store set on a few levels...A coffee shop & loo's , so , great for a mid morning break.Nice clothes, shoes & bags etc.....

Has s lift gd for reaching all floors. Shop seems to have kept going. Cafe v gd ....service v gd.... had lovely sandwich with extra butter as requested & it was lovely. Gd days shopping.

Are you being served?A proper throwback to the good old days of knowledgeable shop assistants and quality products well presented.

Nice restaurant, but the portion of pie that we both had wasn't exactly very generous! Was still hungry afterwards. Missus thought the same as myself. Sorry!

This shop has lots of things to choose from. Well known labels in a warren of different floors. Staff are very pleasant too.

Brilliant local department store. A true Gem in Halifax, everything that the bigger boys used to have with all the quality you would expect plus a marvellous and large restaurant cafe on the top floor.

This is a family owned department store, it sells a very wide range of quality designer clothing, fabulous shoe dept and make up dept and the staff are charming. It also has a first class cafe with delicious food at reasonable prices. We are lucky to have such a lovely store in Halifax

Love the variety this independent store offers. Great they now have an Apricot concession as I usually travel to Bradford for that store. Great cafe too to have a coffee and a rest before you carry on around the store. Staff always friendly and polite. Pay a visit if you have not been for awhile and see the changes you will not be disappointed.

Not been for years remember going with gran thinking it for der people! Today I had a shock when I went there great selection of things ranging from gifts birthday cards wrapping paper designer clothing (superdry, joules, barbour) perfumes creams nightwear home products for the kitchen etc .. I was shocked at the selection they have.. definatly worth a visit if your in Halifax.. tried the cafe this eas also really good the hot chocolate was really nice and the food sizes were really good portions. Friendly staff in the cafe who were willing to help and tweek the order to our satisfaction.. looked to be a good selection of cakes aswell but after eating the delicious turkey sandwich (which had plenty of turkey) and chips I couldn't eat much else. They also had a lovely Christmas display which my 5 year old niece really enjoyed looking at.
