Meze Restaurant in Calderdale

I cannot believe it took so long for us to go, been missing out on lovely fresh food with a great atmosphere! Will be going back very soon!

Food was fantastic, on that aspect alone worthy of 5 stars. And the service up until the main courses was great. However after we had the main courses the service completely fell apart, no one came to check on us and eventually we had to call a waiter across to order desserts. As a result there was a long wait between mains and desserts. Once the desserts arrived we were told several times the table was reserved for the next guests and we were asked to finish up and leave as quickly as possible so they could get the table ready. All this rushing at the end of the meal could have been avoided had the same level of service been maintained once the mains had been served

Another great meal enjoyed by all. The food is great quality and the portions generous. The staff are polite and attentive. One of my favourite restaurants.

Both food and service absolutely excellent. Lovers of good food will enjoy a meal here, and especially with those who like Mediterranean, Greek or Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended 👍 Their home baked bread is to die for 🤩

Went for Christmas dinner (2021). This is without doubt the best 3 courses I have ever had, from the professional friendly staff to the perfect atmosphere.The food was top notch, everything on our plates was perfect.. An absolute must restaurant to go too. 6 out of 5 star's for me.. A massive thank-you to everybody at Meze. You are the best restaurant in Yorkshire.

It's always a pleasure to eat here at Meze, most of the time the food is perfect & the staff are polite and friendly. My only issue with the food on this occasion was that my calamari on the fish platter was quite soggy, the plate under it was wet and it lacked the crunch you'd expect from deep fried squid. Apart from that it's a lovely Greek restaurant, a little bit pricey but it's worth it!
