Consistent fish and chip shop. Good choice and always tasty. Expensive but no more than other chippys!!

Best fish and chip shop I've been to for a long time, the only place I eat fish and chips

Never seen in before first time this week and they have just put me off of going back there ever there was a member of staff there that I saw picking his nose I couldn’t eat after that the food went in the bin disgusting.

Good portion, good chips and gravy, pies could have more filling though.

Recently had steak and kidney pie , chips and peas here . When it landed on the table passed by a waitres moving faster than a bee's wing I thought it was a child's portion , the pie looked so sad and thin in the tray , thinking I should have done it the honour of bringing a letter opener to open the pie and everything was so tasteless , but on a positive note the chip butty is not that bad.

I think there have been staff changes and there has been a noticeable difference in the quality of food.The fish is now very hit and miss. sometimes the batter is far too thick and the quality of fish used seems to vary.When the older gentleman is frying the fish it normally turns out decent but there has been a lady working on the fryer and i think it is suffice to say she is learning.If i see her working i tend to avoid now. As I have had several bad experiences with her.Counter staff generally very friendly and welcoming

Being a very picky person when it comes to fish and chip I was reluctant to try these, but since I was really hungry and wanted fish and chips this was the only place that seemed to be open. To be honest I am really glad I did get them. The food was cooked to order so when I tried to eat it the first time it was burning my fingers so had to let them cool A little. There is nothing I hate more than fish cooked in old oil so was thrilled when the batter looked like it had been cooked in fresh oil. The fish had such a lovely flavour to it and the chips were not half bad either. All in all well worth the money. Keep up the good work.

Quality food.. the jumbo fish and chips enough for 2 to 3 people

Had a fantastic fish and chips from here the staff were really friendly and excellent service with seating area clean and tidy will definitely return

Was lovely, fish came out quick wait time was maybe 3 minutes.
