New Inn in Calderdale

Randomly stopped off at The New Inn, a nice cosy place the staff were friendly, we ordered a mixture of starters to share and they were all delicious. If we are in that area again we will definitely call in.

I called in here when we were passing. I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and the staff. When the food came I wasn't expecting it to look and taste as good as it did. Will be going again soon thanks

Great food....and very friendly hard working staff

I had a 12oz gammon meal, which was good, prefer if chips were on plate instead of being seperate. Also had Jam roly poly, only 6 out of 10, needed more jam, a little dry inside. Had glass of Malbec which was good. Staff superb, friendly pub.

Nice food great service only thing that let it down was we had to order a week before as we were a large party but still great place to eat would have been 5 stars other wise

Sunday lunch was lovely, homemade Yorkshire, plentiful veg & gravy came piping hot. Ate with wonderful views over countryside. Perfect!

Really tasty food with lovely staff

Great service from the minute we stepped in. Great menu, varied from GB classics to Asian. Great mix of sandwiches. Fantastic homemade soup ( leek & potato on this occasion). Apparently there were also 5 or 6 salad bowels on there but unfortunately I'm salad blind. Fairly priced. Lovely setting. But please, please get a better sign guiding you into the car park. I also only saw steps upto the entrance so please check access before booking a table. Also great selection of real ales, wines, coffees and other beverages. Loved it !

We have been to The New Inn as a spontaneous visit on our way home this afternoon and even though it was very busy, the owner, Ian welcomed us warmly and happily even though we had not booked. We were sat outside with stunning views and were served with drinks and menu's very quickly. The waiting staff were super efficient and very friendly. Drinks came quickly and the first course of food came not very long after. Gorgeous, hot, tasty proper Sunday dinner. The mash was divine, the home made yorkies and roasts were simply delicious and it was all topped off with lovely homemade gravy. The whole meal was scrumptious. My husband even managed to fit the Jam Roly Poly in too and he said that was lovely with homemade custard. What a perfect afternoon! Perfect venue! Perfect food! Perfect service! Thank you we will be back soon.
