Pizza King in Calderdale

Absolutely disgusting and well over priced!!! donner meat tasted microwaved chicken tasted off and chips had black bits all over them!!! Think an oil change is needed. Only thing that was nice was the salad the whole lot got binned!!!

I gave this place a try having moved to the area recently, needless to say it was a mistake. The food was awful. The thai green curry was very unpleasant, it was glutinous and sludgy, like nothing I tasted before (see picture). It was a mess with some papper and chicken bits thrown in. The spring rolls were probably straight from Iceland and the chips was obviously old and refried. Save your money and look elsewhere, like anywhere but this place.

I have been here before and it was ok but this time ordered this time and it took about 3 hours to arrive. When the food finally came the chips were peeling of the bottom of the box because the cheese on the chips was like super glue and I could taste the plastic also my meet was like eating rocks besides the Donna meet was frozen as if it had just been delivered and had no taste I felt like I was eating my rug and it smelt like rotting egg and at last the burger was just batter with barley and chicken that was inside smelt smelt like a decomposing body

Placed an order yesterday and it was the first and last time I will ever order anything from there. The chicken tasted of iron. My husbands chicken green pepper and black bean sauce looked like frog 🐸 spawn. It was the worse Chinese I have ever had.

I'm a regular costumer with pizza king and iv never had a problem with the food. it's warm and tastes very fresh iv rated this as a 5 star because they are really friendly and always bring my son a lolly

Awful food - Special Chow mein was dry, chewy and barely warm. Only chicken and one prawn (I asked for no seafood) - I can't believe I paid this much for it. When I rang to complain they essentially told me to p*** off.

It's a new place with new ownership. Great food. Seriously I don't remember eating better kebab in my life. It was awesome. It is run by a couple, they have few tables available, deliver food locally I'm going to visit this place very often.

Ordered from here twice, the first time was a pepperoni pizza, it arrived lukewarm. Once I tucked in was disgusted at the amount of salt on the pizza. I don't know why it was so salty but it was horrific, I thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again, only to find the same salty product. Definitely stay well away from this place.

Never go here! The food took an hour to come so when the guy came I asked if I could check the food as I been waiting an hour he was rude to me by saying it not cold it is fine the pizza was warm enough to eat so we took it but he didn't give us the rice and the other food so I took it in look at the pizza picked a slice up the whole bottom underneath the pizza was burnt! Was solid and black, so I checked the other food the rice was minging hard and just not edible at all so I rang to ask for some better food the guy answered and told me to ring back as they was not any managers again he was rude but I rang back in 15 minutes. He basically said the same thing fobbed me of and told me they don't do refunds and was really rude by saying there nothing he can do and if I want to report him to trading standards I can and if I want to come down in person basically I can do getting aggressive and wound up at a customer so yea never go there I spent £16! On a meal that was the worse food I have ever seen worst takeaway in Halifax needs to be shut down ASAP!!!

So earlier this evening I treated myself and the kids to take away...This is my review:Delivery time was the only possible positive point. I placed my order at 4pm and it arrived at 5:20pm, the driver was a pleasant chap.Quality:The chicken chowmein - the noodles were the texture of candy laces, the chicken was tough. It was almost as if it had been sat in grease under a hot lamp all afternoon.Spring Rolls- Soggy.The Aromatic duck- Bland, powdery dry texture where it had been over cooked sufficiently to dry your mouth out making it hard to chew.. the hoisin sauce was salty!! The veg to go with the duck are usually spring onions and cucumber finely sliced, but recieved roughly chopped cucumber and white onion which is completely over powering and unsuitable accompaniment.The prawn toasts - greasy and soggy.The ribs- Chewy, dry and quite tasteless.Service: When I called up to say that the food they had sent was inedible I was asked why? When I said the duck was too dry to chew I got a sarcastic remark stating "crispy duck is supposed to be dry, I mean its not going to be wet is it!?". When I went on to say how chewy the ribs were I was told that pork is "supposed to be chewy". When I asked if he had ever tried the food there he said no. Says it all really. When I asked for a refund I was told "we dont do that".So save yourself the hassle and do not order from here. Having been feeling run down all week this was supposed to be a cheer up treat for the family. Instead its just been a total disappointment, leaving us hungry and having spoken to them we are also very annoyed.Pizza King/China town
