We had a shared platter of cheeses and meats and the portions were very generous for two. The food was good value at £40 and we added a bottle of wine for £10. Just to note we did have the early bird menu.

Enjoyed a family lunch at Pride & Provenance. A great menu selection and the food was extremely tasty and well presented. A lovely restaurant/cafe for casual dining with friends & family. We will be back!

As a regular visitor to Halifax my wife and I were delighted to find a café run by the owners serving good food and drinks. However, on this occasion I visited with my older sister who is, unfortunately, restricted in movement (a blue badge disabled badge holder) and we were turned away as we only wanted a coffee and they were saving all the tables (at least six were empty) for people buying food. We said we would be only 10 minutes and were then offered a high table near the door but when we explained that my sister could not get on a high stool we were, politely, turned away. My sister struggled down the steps to the road and we left.Very disappointing as I had been so positive about recommending this coffee shop.

Really nice place next to The Peace Hall in Halifax. A very warm welcome awaits. Extensive food and wine menu. Slightly disappointed by the condition of the loo seats, please replace.

Overall excellent locally sourced Charcuterie, lovely selection of cheeses, biscuits and bread. Sublime artichokes too. Super friendly customer service... Can't ask for more. Definitely recommended and perfect to just nibble and just catch up with some great company

Had the best birthday on 25.9.21The whole night was fantastic. The food was beautiful and the portions were large. We ordered way too much food but could have happily stayed and grazed all night. The wine complimented the food perfectly. The staff were very helpful and attentive without being us feeling bothered. I can't wait to go back!

Best. Sandwich. EverYou guys made our day - the truffle covered bikini sarnie on gf bread absolutely blew my husband away. Your staff were delightful and your well chosen ingredients made it a super simple, but special, treat meal. Your love for food was clear to see. Little one had an amazing goats cheese sandwich STACK which kept her going til 7pm - no mean feat in a growing 12 year old. Thanks so much - we'll be back, and soon :)

I love this place and have returned a number of times. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive and the food is always top notch. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and just the right number of seats so it doesn't get too overcrowded and noisy.I think the menu has enough variety to suit most tastes, from their locally sourced cheeses and charcuterie, to the tapas style selection of bread, olives, hummus, oil/balsamic to their toasties, sandwiches, soup, salads and sweet selection. They have an extensive selection of wine and beer as well as soft and hot drinks. My partner and daughter are both gluten intolerant but this has not been an issue, just ensure you speak to the staff when ordering so they can accommodate you. Highly recommend a visit, especially if you are shopping within the Piece Hall as it's right next door.
