We've been driving past this pub for decades en route to Hebden Bridge but for once had time for a walk and a pint. Very friendly staff. 4 cask ales on hand pumps and Jaipur on keg. Food seven days a week. We popped in Monday and were very pleasantly surprised to be served with two excellent meals: steak with sweet potato chips and the trimmings, and fish pie with veg. The restaurant part was busy which tells you everything. A great find. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Nice friendly atmosphere and good beer. But food was underwhelming to the extent that my wife's fish & chips were so over cooked that it was practically inedible. Indeed the chips on both of our meals were also in much the same state. Would not recommend for food but good for a nice convivial evening drink or two.

Second visit to the pub. The food is just amazing I recommend the rack of lamb. The restaurant team are so friendly... can't do enough for you, they make the experience such a pleasure however the bar team (on the day of our visit) let the side down. They were uninterested in us prefering to chat to the locals who were sitting around the bar making it very difficult to order drinks!Having said that I would definitely return to the Robin Hood as the food is worth it

Really good food. Good selection of drinks. Long time since I was here last. A new owner and revamp has worked wonders. It's transformed the place

Absolutely loved this hotel. A warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff can't do enough for you and full of local knowledge so lots of recommendations for things to do. Excellent food. Rooms have everything you need whilst maintaining age and character with modern twists. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly, cheerful staff serving good pub food and a decent selection of beers. If it's ever warm and sunny up there, the newoutside seating would be a great place to have a beer.

A sumptuous vegan bean burger followed by a rich chocolate orange cheesecake - what's not to like?! Beautiful location too - very Emmerdale-esque. The bus stop sign just up the road is quite comical! They do a pub quiz on Thursdays at 9pm too.

Fish pie and steak. Both very good. Couldn't get table so had it in bar which was fine for us. Id advise people to book a table it is popular for scran. Beer also good. Staff look after you and ate friendly. π π π
