Sheesh Mahal in Calderdale

Absolutely terrible, had to wait 2 hours for luke warm food.Person who answered the phone did not instill confidence that the food would arrive.

Food was absolutely delicious , was extremely clean and Decor was nice! Haven’t been here before but I will definitely be returning for more !!! Staff was also really helpful :)

First time visiting the Halifax branch. Very delicious food and lovely atmosphere and excellent value for money. Very sociable staff and always on hand to assist. Would definitely recommend for Tawa and also traditional Kashmiri curry's. 5 star food 😋

Delicious food.. Just the seekh kebabs were a bit of let down other than that the tawaa was perfect 💯

Good food friendly service I had the seek kebab chicken vindalo would definitely go back

Great food.. the tawa Is great value for money you get plenty of choice on it

Tawa was decent, could be bit more spicy and more flavourful but worth it, you do get a lot of food on it. Stir fry donner is a nice touch, that was the best and you get 2 meat curries, unlike some places that give you some dodgy looking daal! Service was excellent 👍

Really good food great atmosphere the tawas are really good lots of food

We arrived and were promptly seated. The tables behind & front of us were too close but they were kindly moved a little further away upon request. We ordered 2 tawas for our group of 7. Food wise I can't complain, tawas were huge and more than sufficient. However, I must say that service is not good, staff seem to be thin on the ground so no one is around to deal with any queries or requests.Maybe improve the service and update the interior and this place would do a lot better.

Love this place.......mixed grill for 2 the best I've had, the chicken kebabs are amazing and the curries are always bang on.....staff are always friendly and polite. Me and the other half love this place and cant wait to dine in once again
