Stretchgate Fisheries in Calderdale

Called here early this Saturday lunchtime after looking on Google.Proper solid quality tasty fish, big white flakes, cooked perfectly, excellent well drained batter. Along with really tasty chips. The delicious curry is rumoured to be made by Leprechauns.The two young ladies serving, one I presume the owner, one a new employee, both were friendly with time to talk to you and they both made this a five star experience.Highly recommended.

Always get fish and chips from here now. Always cooked perfectly. Always delivered hot. Always high quality. Really recommend.

A old classic chippy been going here when I was a little lad lol, Still love coming here food is always nice and fresh and would recommend this place to friends!

My favourite fish and chips whole of Yorkshire. Super friendly staff. Reminds me of fish of chips as a kid. Quality. Can't recommend enough and my dog loves a small piece of fish.

I have used Brackenbed Fisheries for 6 Years but thought I needed to give this place a try after my last few visits there. Well am I glad 😀 I did lovely taste chips but the fish well I felt like I had actually had a proper portion of fish 🐟 lovely and thick and totally tasty 😋 new customer from now on.

What a cracking chippy! I had a survey team in the area this week and just picked the chip shop with the highest rating, and was glad I did. My team were raving that these were the best fish and chips they'd ever had - and biggest fish too. Nice ladies running the place too

The fish here are top quality, lovely batter and the staff are great. I come from Savile Park and its the only fish and chippie l would go to. I always ring them and ask for them to be well done for me and they are perfect.
