Great visit to this weatherspoons, food deal was £6 for mixed grill and it didn't disapoint. plenty pleasant staff available and app available to order drinks and food .would recommend a visit 👌

I think this is the better of the two Halifax Spoons. Lovely interior with an upper level balcony seating area. Another opportunity to claim my 50p discount with CAMRA tokens thus making the low Spoons price even lower. We ended up staying the rest of the evening as I sampled a selection of the beers. Tod's blond by Little Valley was on fine form. Avoided the bland Doom Bar.

This is a very popular town centre pub with many regular users throughout the day so having to bare this in mind my daughter and I went for breakfast - she's pregnant and the baby needed a 'Spoons' breakfast!! HaWe made our way to the upper eating area, used the app to order our food and were met by wonderful, friendly and polite servers when it arrived.The upper level runs around the outer edge of the building in a semi circular way with a balcony overlooking the lower lounge which I would imagine could get a little noisy, so if you're looking for a quiet meal don't be upset if it's not ☺️ - remember it's essentially a pub 😉The food tasted wonderful, as most 'Spoons' establishments do (can't really get it wrong), we didn't have to wait too long, and the pregnant one waddled away happy - 👍

Reasonably priced, tasty and hot when it arrived, only slight disappointment was I think the chips must have been counted out as opposed to being served..5 stars as 4.5 isn't an option. Refills of tea and coffee is a definite winner with me.Staff were polite and helpful.

Had a coffee here. Great because could get refill plus cheaper than a lot of the cafes. Also great atmosphere

Wow! What a horrible experience!NOT LGBTQ+ friendly as advertised. Me and my boyfriend were removed from the establishment for no reason.Alongside that, food was burnt, service was slow and glasses were dirty. Would not return

I've ordered on their app and after 25 mins waiting for my pint had to go to bar ask for my pint and take it myself. It was Sunday morning and pub was empty , but still a good pub with too floors

What a wonderful welcome the staff gave the Korean veterans after their special service in Halifax Minster. The place was packed, but the service was excellent. Credit to the staff for smiling through, when they were obviously rushed off their feet. The " Dukes" had a fabulous party!

You know what to expect for your money with spoons. Decent food, cheap prices, friendly staff.Barun top is a run of the mill spoons. Neither great nor lacking. Decor is slightly dated but it is a nice place.
