Had a lovely Sunday dinner, a good traditional country pub. Wholesome home cooked food. Friendly staff.

Lovely drive and location, great food, friendly staff, quick service, moderately priced. Would be nice if there was a view from dining room in winter. Patio area outside but room is slightly lower so our view was of a little path and what looked like an old tent. Would go again though.

Hidden Gem, first time visit with friends and the food was great, good selection and friendly staff, everyone was happy after eating and will visit again. Look forward to a Sunday dinner next time.

Stumbled upon here accidentally after a walk. The food was amazing and the staff were kind and friendly. Definitely coming back here again after a lovely walk round the moors.

Update. As promised 2 years ago we returned for Sunday lunch. The pies were excellent, described as home made and they were. Service was still very good and friendly.Good value food and very pleasant staff. I would say this is an eating pub not a drinking pub (although 2 guys at the bar looked like they had popped in for a beer) Sunday lunch was excellent, kids can have some mains in smaller sizes at reduced price. We will be returning.

The best pork belly I've ever had!!! Really nice staff. Very good beer. Well worth the trek from Oxford. Great value too. Someone said it was pricey??? Should try getting that quality of food down south for that brass!!! No chance. Loved it 👍

First time ever at the Beehive and I will be returning again soon.As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed by the staff and also other drinkiners, a very social pub with plenty of conversation flowing.Ordered the Fillet steaks and they were perfect and that's from me who doesn't really do steak!!Staff were very friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, we also had a dog with us so pet friendly is another thing we were happy about..A great pub and well worth a visit.
