Best find! Had to come for a return visit and will definitely come for another. Its worth the drive. Lovely helpful friendly staff as well. Perfect place.

Great find! The food was amazing and the staff were so hospitable. We arrived with 2 dogs, 2 babies and 8 adults and they set up a separate space for us in their outside area with heaters and highchairs. The roast dinner was incredible and they offer lots of other food as well as a roast menu on Sundays.

Had a family lunch. The service was a little slow but the food was really good. It was worth the wait. Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. We will be going again soon.

What a lovely afternoon. Gorgeous food, nice wine and great staff. You can't ask for more than that. We will definitely be back. Thank you for giving us such a special mother's day, with our daughters.

***Updated Review***Returned to try the vegan menu, which was excellent: good variety offered for all courses and all seemed to be homemade from whole ingredients ie no processed meat replacements. Food was very well cooked and presented and portions were very generous. Service was excellent. If you have a vegan in your party you will have no issues here. Top notch.***We had a really nice family lunch here. The menu is fairly classic British on the whole but very varied, there are a number of specials and also smaller plates from a "retro menu". All the food was excellently cooked and presented and the service was prompt and friendly. This pub has a very cosy, traditional interior, with real fires, and is wonderful to have some good food and a chat. All 3 generations were happy with the fare and a good time was had by all. We'll definitely be back.

Good food, a blend of classic pub food and more exotic cuisine done very well and at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff friendly. One of the only real downsides is that it's a bit of tue beaten track and parking is limited around the venue. Overall I very pleasant place.

Squished us in on Father's Day although they were very busy. We only had a drink and starters. But WOW! The brie was incredible, we were expecting the standard little frozen wedges you usually get but no!! Hand battered HUGE slabs of brie. Well worth a visit!
