Had a terrible experience today. Food was dry and the quality was poor. After giving feedback the manager said he would cook fresh what we wanted however the whole idea of going to a buffet is not having to wait. We told the manager the sweet and sour was dry and he said "I don't know what to say to that, it's not like English chicken." There were other people in the restaurant mentioning the dryness of the food also.I have been before when it first opened and my experience was fantastic. The restaurant had only about 6 tables used. Seems a shame that at some point a well talked about place has gone so poor. Not worth the money and didn't want to stay for dessert. Genuinely disappointed.

Won't go back...food tastes like its been sat for hours & is a bit bland & tastes cheap & dishes like salt & pepper prawns are oily...just doesn't taste like food in a Chinese restaurant, it's just not the same quality...best bit is the desserts. Children over 10 have to pay adult price, which is ridiculous at 15 quid...bet they wouldn't get away with ordering a pint???!!!! Spend your money going to a nice restaurant instead

Visited with my wife and we were both pleasantly surprised. Decent food with a good selection available, including a Tepanyakki grill and a small selection of Sushi. A nice selection of cocktails and drinks (be warned, the drinks are quite pricey, £6 for a cocktail, £3 - £4 for a beer/cider). Desserts are nothing too exciting but they make up for this with a to order Pancake and Waffle bar with Ice cream and sauces. Worth the visit and we will be back.

Went at 2pm on Thursday, very little in the bowls(e.g. chicken curry etc!) And what was in looked like it had been there awhile! The mushroom foo young was an unappetising grey colour. £8.99 for the buffet, I had a glass of Pepsi which put my bill upto £11.99 which makes it £3 for a glass of Pepsi!!!!! I could have bought 3 litres of Pepsi at that price! Think I'll be trying the great Wall in Brighouse next time as it has a better star rating!

Since the new refurb, the restaurant has taken a lot of food out of the buffet. Prices have have gone up too, £8.99 during the day and £15.99 after 5pm. We didn't end up eating here as when we arrived at 4.20pm, we were told by the lady at the counter that it is closed until the 5pm switch over, so we would have to wait 40 minutes and then pay double! Talk about "being kicked when your down".

After a bit if a rocky time, the place has been re-furbished: They're not afraid to show off the kitchen, or expand the menu to include tempura, and Dim-Sum. Which is not to say the favourites are gone: They're not, and now under covers to keep them good.Manager Roberto is on a mission to keep patrons happy... Always a good sign!

Went to the Chinese first time since it been redone. Thought the food was had gotten a lot better, although a bit was lacking in choice. But the real deal breaker was the water situation, it was given us in messily sized glasses, when we asked for it in a larger glass we had got tolled "it is like driving, you can't just decide you want to switch to the over side of the road." Basically bring your own glass.

MONEY GRABBING!!The water situation - In order to force you to buy their overpriced drinks the food is incredibly salty and they REFUSE to give you water in anything other than a tiny little cup. You can of course BUY water and that comes with a larger cup. This is incredibly annoying because I had to ask the staff about 10 times for a refill of my tiny cup.Food was alright.

From the outside it looks lovely, unfortunately we should have stayed outside.First the tables looked like they'd been taken from a run down pub, the plates were dirty and the food was awful. There wasn't a lot in each dish but being a weeknight they probably don't need to put a lot in, but the food didnt taste nice at all. The fried foods such as prawn toast, fried prawns, spring rolls etc all had a nasty long lasting after taste and as if they were cooked in burnt overused oil.No one took our plates away and staff were miserable except one chef at the made to order section.Lesson learnt, wont be going again.£14.99 per person

Visited the Chinese Buffet last night for a small celebration with my family. What can I say? Perfect. Great food, lovely seating area, amazing staff who go over and above their duties to make sure you have a nice evening. I have worked in the hospitality industry and I know what a difficult job it can be. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Best part of the experience was the lovely serving staff, the chef's and the great manager.
