Been here a few times now for Sunday Lunch really good and always come out feeling full. Friendly service too.

Always a warm, friendly welcome and yesterday, had the most delicious Sunday lunch here. Didn't realise we should have booked but the lovely landlord fit us in. Absolute top quality food and the staff are also lovely. A great atmosphere. Really down to earth people with 5* service 👌

Updated March 2022. Still an OK pub (not that there is great variety in Mytholmroyd!).Big issue now is that it's not family friendly. They would prefer an empty bar rather than serving a family with a quiet, well behaved child.The menu looks OK and hopefully is value for money, but we never found out because they wouldn't serve us with a child 10 minutes before the menu (and serving times) was advertised serving until.There are better places to eat in Mytholmroyd because of this, and there are only 3 eating places and 3 takeaways to choose from.My recommendation after hundreds of reviews across the country is not to bother and to go somewhere else - even to Hebden Bridge (if you must!).I'm interested to see if/how the managers reply to this review as we spend thousands of pounds in Mytholmroyd every year at the othe pubs, bars, and restaurants, and yet these don't seem to want the custom...

Lovely interior. Was told it had just been redecorated. Friendly staff. Nice food and drink. Plenty of ales to try.

Great pub.... very,very friendly and well appointed. Seeing as the owner only took on this place in January 2020 and was welcomed by being flooded from the local river and then followed the national Lockdown , to bounce back. A very big well done, a visit is a must when in the Mytholmroyd area for a great pub atmosphere and some excellent pub grub.

Lovely pub in a lovely setting. Excellent use of the space. Spacious yet somehow cosy at the same time.Drinks are rather expensive unfortunately, hence 4 stars and not 5

Fantastic modernised pub. Very friendly. We called in to have a pint and watch some cricket on the TV. The manager realised we wanted to watch the sport and showed us another TV and put it on for us. Great service all round from the team in the pub. Decent prices as well.
