The Malthouse in Calderdale

Great pub, with fantastic food and great and helpful staff. We stayed one night and they even sorted out a late change to our booking, as our youngest decided to join us at the last minute.

Great pub to grab a bite to eat in. Not far from the M62 with plenty of Parking. Nice and comfortable decor, Service is really good.Food is excellent, all freshly made and served without delay or fuss 👍Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food.Would recommend 👍

As a pub this is two stars. Great beer and atmosphere, great outdoor area in the summer. But the 'drinking' area is inadequate - 4 tables is not enough and even worse when diners eat in that area.We would stay longer, come more often and drink more if there was more space dedicated for drinkers.

Had an overnight stay at the Malthouse, I have to say it was very nice. The room was clean, the pub was good with lots of atmosphere and the breakfast was superb. Well worth a visit to the pub and or stay the night.

Great country pub dining. Quality food that is super fresh. One of those where you are salivating but you have you wait for it to cool its that fresh. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with a good selection of beers. You should go

Had an amazing meal at the malthouse this week - it was so good my husband went back on his own when I was out. Food was fabulous, service was amazing and the staff are super friendly, they can’t do enough for you - will defo be returning

Visited today because they accept dogs and they were able to accommodate 14 of us at short notice.Excellent friendly service.Meals included steak, fish burger, pasta which were all very reasonable.Only downside was the cost of some of our soft drinks. £6 for an orange and lemonade, and £1.30 for a glass of cordial and water for the children.Will visit again but stick to beer!

Exquisite food, excellent service at short notice booking.We both had the prawns to start, I had belly pork, black pudding and scallops for mains and my partner had the duck. Had the lemon posset for desert.Everything we ate was sublime, the staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive or pestering. Surroundings ans ambience were very pleasant.Perfect new years celebration

We stayed here overnight and the room was really lovely. It's quite noisy as we overlooked the main road and thd bottle bins were being emptied about 5am but we would stay again. The staff were lovely and we had a very tasty breakfast too!

We had a dinner party meal for my grandson's engagement here for 12 people. Because of the bad weather we all arrived late we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. The food was excellent,the service was brilliant and the staff were out standing. Definitely to be recomended.
