I will say this is a wonderful place to go. There is a lot of choice when it comes to real ales and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that when you are inside it is nearly always very cold which is a big shame because the place itself is well kept the environment is very pleasant indeed and the staff could not be more helpful. I have had a meal here and I will say it was first class I had the mix grill and there was plenty of it. I will definitely be going here again love it

Excellent pub. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Food and drink is amazing value. We had a ladies night out for Christmas in a booth and we had a great night. Thank you so much. PS Sorry for being a bit noisy 🙏

Lovely Wetherspoons but the senior member of staff working today was extremely rude and obnoxious and didn’t even crack a smile when she brought over our food and drinks. No customer service skills at all and very very very disappointed, however bar staff was lovely just this one horrible lady

Really good pub, great northern hospitality. Unfortunately they have scaffolding up inside at the moment to what seems protect the historic ceiling.

·

Decent breakfast for the price. internal scaffolding up and has been for ages. doesn't make it the best atmosphere around the bar area.

Spoons is spoons is spoons is spoons, all the same bit all with different carpets. Nice spot this, noticed it has a organ above the bar. Going to revisit when the work js complete. Staff were well well nice and the food was decent.

This is a great pub to get food and drink at a decent price. Usual good value and nice menu. All the staff are friendly and seem to be well trained. Good place to visit.

I like this venue. Close to everything in this small town, and probably the only decent real ale pub in in Brighouse. The service is really good, staff are friendly and the food i generally good. Could be a little better in cleanliness on the tables. Still I will give this four stars

The Richard Oastler is a Wetherspoons Public House located in Brighouse, Yorkshire. It is your usual mixture of cut-price food and drink deals. The building is easy to find and has very pleasant and friendly barstaff. I'd recommend a visit to this establishment if you require good value for your money, with parking quite handy nearby if you're driving.
