Absolutely amazing!!!! The staff are brilliant and so accommodating towards their guests with disabilities like myself. The food is lovely. I've been to a lot of carveries and they're always dry and taste like ready meals. This is the first carvery I've actually eaten. It's the best carvery I've been to and the other meals are amazing too. Will definitely be going back. Such a lovely warm welcome

Lovely staff, quick to be seated and served. Food didn't take long to come. The only thing for me, was that the veg on the carvery was quite hard for me however that is just my personal preference that I enjoy them soft. Other people attended like their veg a bit crunchy so was perfect for them. Definitely be visiting again..and again.

Good service, lovely roast dinner. We opted for the small roast (2 meats and steak pie) as opposed to a regular (3 meats and steak pie) and the portion was ample. Very good food with very good value

Good variety of choice on the menu and something for everyone and on top of the carvery! All home cooked food.We went with a group of 12 with no complaints!I personally had the steak pie which was very nice and highly recommended.

We had two meals here one at lunchtime and the second the following evening! Both were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A pleasant visit on both occasions! 👍

Just had lunch here today.We hadn't booked but the staff soon found me and my wife a table.I had a pint of Wainwrights beer which was spot on. My wife had lime and lemon.I orderded the steak pie which was lovely and would reccomend it.My wife had chicken stuffed with ricotta cheese and a thyme sauce and she said it was scrummy.The staff were very pleasant and would reccomend the stump cross Inn.Will definately call again.

They advertise unassuming rooms and that is true. However, the entire staff is awesome! The food was excellent also. I love the history of the inn and glad we stayed there. If I ever make it back to the UK, I will stay there again.

Great pub food. Excellent value for money. Sally even bought Turkey out for our dog. Beer garden and car park on main Rd however doesn't detract from the taste and value for money. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Food was very good overall. Pub was a little run down though. And I'm not really a fan of the open plan Toby Carvery style of pub. Could do with the odd craft ale too.
