Myself and my family went for sunday lunch and it was absolutely superb, good size portions, great quality food and really good service. This is a properly run old fashioned community pub where you are greeted with a smile.

Went for Sunday lunch. Staff were very nice, bar and surroundings clean and bright, food not good, cold, tastless, Yorkshire puddings rock hard, vegetables hard, nice mash and plenty of meat. Won't be going again expensive drinks.

Stopped for a light bite and a few drinks. Was not disappointed food, service and price were all fantastic. Brilliant atmosphere will definitely be returning.

First visit here for lunch, reduced menu due to covid. Waitress checked dairy free options. Opted for chicken bites and steak to follow. Chicken tasted lovely and well presented. Steak was well cooked. Onion rings were amazing! Pub had lovely interior. Covid measures in place and adhered to.

I asked the Sun Inn to provide a buffet and it was the best buffet I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying in the UK. Before I booked my event, I ate lunch here and it was delicious (peppercorn chicken). I have since been back fro my 3rd time and enjoyed a gourmet burger and a few beers while speaking to locals on the outside terrace. This is a fantastic gastropub. Well worth the visit. Lance and his staff make everyone feel very welcome.
