Absolute top notch all round. One of the best ever hotels we've stayed in.

I went with a family group for Sunday lunch. We all had the roasted lamb shoulder, which was delicious and filling.I chose the chocolate and walnut tart for dessert, and it was very tasty indeed. Others had the lemon posset with blueberry jelly or sticky toffee pudding, and they both received rave reviews. The sticky toffee pudding portion was enormous, so I got to try a few mouthfuls for myself. Mmm! Mmm!

Hebden Bridge is a notorious park, and we were late for our reservation. We called ahead and that would not be a problem. The menu is reasonable but a bit more diversity would be welcome.Starters do offer a good selection and our choices, duck baklava {which was, I am informed, exceptional} and soup. Then on to mains, a Ranch Salad, two burgers, sausage and chips {off the child's menu}, a Tabbouleh salad; I had a stake and ale pie.The pie was {too} substantial but very tasty. And everyone else enjoyed their choices. All the food was well cooked, tasty and good sized portions. We all were too full for desserts. The staff were friendly and attentiveI would highly recommend a visit, if you can get parked.

Really poor food on a recent visit. I've been coming here for years and it's always been great, unfortunately this time the food was terrible. Ordered the cheese pie, it was burnt and there was hardly any filling in it. We had to send it back, the fish and chips were soggy and just about edible. This place has always been lacking in atmosphere, but it seems to have gotten worse, no atmosphere at all now. Such a shame as it's in a great building and location.

Great place. This is my second only visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Wide variety of drinks available, and the food is amazing. There is no parking space outside but there is close by.Its wheelchair accessible and has disabled rest rooms. All in all id definitely recommend that you visit.

Just heading out of Hebden Bridge, this inn/bar/restaurant serves great food.I had the pan fried Fjord trout which was delicious and followed it with Queen's Pudding (it was Jubilee weekend). Both of which were delicious. Service was a little on the slow side but I was eating mid/late afternoon which could account for that.Highly recommend and hope to return to try something else.

This visit was just for a meal, we did not see or stay in the accommodation. Food was good; not badly priced. Interior was comfortable. Placed right on the main street with its own car park. Service was a bit slow; one more person waiting-on would have done the job better.

Great pub situated next to the river. Came in on jubilee weekend expecting a big wait, but was served quickly and by friendly staff. Only here for a couple of days house sitting but may very well be back

Popped in here after a good walk. Sat out side nice and quiet round in the beer garden (midweek), looks nice inside to have a meal. Sat out side had drink and some chips and got a jug of curry sauce. It was not like chippy curry. I found their home curry to die for. Excellent. Bit pricey for drinks other that spot on
