We went here today. 2 adults 3 children and the food as always was amazing. Great atmosphere friendly, smiley staff and excellent value. Trying here is a must!

What a fantastic meal on Sunday. I had to book online and we did arrive a little early but the table was ready. Staff were waiting and sat us straight down and offered us drinks. The pub was very busy and most tables were taken. We both had the Sunday roast which was beef and it was cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, came hot and were fresh. Staff were always on hand and the service was first class. Would highly recommend a visit.

Drove to the Top Brink on a Thursday afternoon around 2.30 pm with a small dog in tow and was turned away immediately at the door and told dogs not allowed . There was just a handful of diners but we were refused entry by reason of we don’t want big, dirty wet dogs making a mess and putting off customers. We have been patronising the top brink for years and was always made welcome including our little sausage dog. Took our custom to the Summit Inn and enjoyed a warm welcome a lovely meal and friendly service and staff. Would not recommend the Top Brink to any dog lover.

Was recommended this place as we live around half an hour away we went in the car which was a nice drive but the road has a few narrow parts. I booked table for about half 4 and Wanted to order the sunday roast but was all sold out I was told the roasts tend to run out quite quickly. Decent food although service a bit slow as waited an hour for food (but it was busy) Excellent beer, good parking, good staff. In general a good pub.

Our family have been coming for years and this is the first time for me in ages. Still as fab as ever. Had the famous Cumberland Sausage of course and it didn't let me down. Great friendly staff, top food and great selection of beers.

A really nice friendly pub but I felt it was over priced for the food. I personally had the double Cumberland sausage with mash and gravy. I ordered the extra option of Yorkshire pudding with gravy for £2.50 to receive 1 small Yorkshire pudding. This on top of the £14 for the meal. At that kind of money I was expecting a lot more.

Decent food although service a bit slow and the Sunday roasts tend to run out quite soon. Telephone to book on Sundays recommend and try to select a table. Good idea to offer mint sauce with the lamb lunch. Excellent beer, good parking, good staff. In general a good pub for a lunch, an excellent pub for good beers. Needs a car to get there and the road has a few narrow parts.

Certainly not a venue to attract passing trade owing to its location. Make a special journey it’s well worth it. Probably the best meal out I’ve had for years. A group of six of us visited on a Sunday, four having the Sunday lunch option. All meals were excellent, well cooked and plentiful. The vegetables were especially well cooked (by that I mean not over cooked as with some venues). We took our time and had puddings, even though we were full after the mains, they were all homemade and to die for! The service was friendly and efficient. The online booking was easy. Well done all an excellent venue, we live 200 miles away but certainly hope to come back when we visit again.

Great! Really busy on a Sunday so book if you are intending on going at a weekend. We had a table of six and the meals arrived quickly. Really hot and plenty of it. Really helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely return 😊

Got recommended to us ages ago and finally went. I live about half hour away and it's well worth the trip.Went for a birthday meal and what a meal, I had nacho starters and the double Cumberland for my main, the sausages were bigger than my hands. My other half ordered stake medium rare and it came well done. She had already eaten a few cups and other pieces, I asked our waitress, who was excellent by the way, if we could sort it, she took it away and came back with a completely fresh new meal 😳, wasn't expecting that. The rest of the family thoroughly enjoyed their meals, absolutely one of the best places I've been to, great value for money, nice pub, lovely surrounding area, cannot wait to go again. Thanks everyone 👍🏻👍🏻
