Vocation & Co in Calderdale

A fantastic place in a great location.Staff are super friendly, very attentive, knowledgeable about the beers and want to make sure you have a good experience.This is a specialist craft beer venue, and their extensive range is great, something for everyone from porters, fruit beer, IPAs etc (they even had a raddler on when we went). Absolutely fantastic value.Food was delicious, it's a compact menu (as it's more bar food to accompany the beer than an actual restaurant), however most people should be able to eat here, even with veggie and vegan options. It's well priced and super delicious, portion size on chips is really good as well.Venue looks fantastic, really bright and modern, spaces inside and out, bar, booths and more... Also great atmosphere and a really friendly crowd as well.Would really recommend and a destination if you're ever in the area.

First ever visit to this bar on the main road opposite the canal marina. Surprisingly large bar plus outside pavement seating. Vocation brewery real ales. Lovely bitter. Also big craft keg selection for fizz lovers. Great atmosphere.

12/08/22: Hebden Bridge Ale Trail: Vocation are outstanding at brewing beer. When I say beer, I should state Craft Ales, Porters, Stouts, Sours and general Session Ales. They have catered and created something that everyone can find a favourite of. Part of our Hebden Bridge ale trail, it was our first stop and for me, probably one of the best places in Hebden Bridge. We didn't sample any food, although thr menu also looked impressive (burgers and fries). We drank Death by Cherries cherry sour, Life & Death Session IPA and Sunset Overdrive piña colada sour.

Perfect stop off after walking up and down the valleys. Love Vocation so it was great to finally get to the tap room. Good selection of beers on. Very dog friendly, probably one to swerve if you're not a dog person. The burgers by Slap and Pickle were super tasty though - we enjoyed the fries especially, never experienced a better sauce vessel!

It's always a joy when I can go somewhere that makes good vegan food for me and meaty food for my partner. So it's extra special when it's accompanied by amazing beer too. Yay Vocation, thank you

If you are in Hebden Bridge and like to have a good beer, you definitely must visit this pub. Great choice of quality beer, good atmosphere and the best loaded chips.

Travelled down from Gateshead and glad we did. Beer was superb, burgers and loaded fries were outstanding and the service was friendly and fast. Brought some tins home, looking forward to them. Hebdon Bridge beautiful little town as well. Lots of bars, coffee shops and places to eat. Will be back.

Best bar in Hebden Bridge, If you don't know Vocation they are a local brewery with a host of interesting beers from IPA's to Sours & Stouts. They even have a Hebden beer. The bar itself located the main rd itself. We ordered burgers too which were very good!

Great beer and food. What more could you want. Love the beer at vocation and they have so many to try, catering to all tastes, you're bound to find something you like. The food from the slap and pickle is delicious too, massive portions and just the perfect thing to line your stomach if you're having a few alcoholic beverages. A special mention to try the big mick fries which are just *chef's kiss* will absolutely be back soon.

What a place! Lovely inside with spots to sit outside too. Great selection of drinks including a few from other breweries.The food was unexpectedly good. It does vegetarian and vegan options, and possibly the greatest fries I've ever encounted (I had the vegan hoisin duck fries).It was clean and the staff were super friendly. It was so good, we actually came back again before going home!
