The best place in Halifax for Fish & Chips. Great value, food is amazing and the staff are always great. Highly recommended!

You know you have chosen the right place when you arrive and the queue is out of the door. The staff are extremely efficient and I was served within 5 minutes. Fish cooked to order and the curry sauce to die for. Beautiful.Well done.

The best fish and chips I have had in years absolutely top drawer

I was unfortunate enough to have my drink spiked in Greetland Social Club, I'm a 76 year old man and the effects left me unaware of what I was doing for quite some time. Just before closing time I wondered naked in to Westvale Fisheries, the staff recognised me and realised my behaviour and state of undress were most out of character.My senses began to return when I was shown in to the fish preparation room and the proprietor 'lunged' at me with a jumbo sausage, still naked and mildly confused I declined his generous if unnerving offer but did accept the loan of a smart white overall to make my way home. Unfortunately I only managed to travel a short distance and found myself staggering around, dressed all in the white fish fryers clothing trying to access Springhead Funeral Services.West Yorkshire Police received 16 reports of a ghost outside the Funeral Directors and I was arrested and detained under the mental health act shortly afterwards. I'm now fully recovered, I haven't been in the social club, I have returned the white overall and have yet to tackle a party sausage yet alone a jumbo.

Lovely, clean non grease smelling, friendly and accommodating. Best fish and chips I have eaten. And there are many good ones in Halifax alone.
