White Hart in Calderdale

We went here for first time as discovered that it is recently under new ownership by people that ran a pub / restaurant that we loved a few years ago.....we were not disappointed at all.Very friendly welcome - great service and proper tasty home cooked food.Our starters of garlic mushrooms and spam fritters were delicious.Mains of lamb shank from Specials board and rib eye steak were equally as good...if not more so. Good portion size.We would have love a dessert but couldn't manage one...even between us.Great value....happy to recommend

Noisy but nice....pub grub, nice staff. Best in the dining room as bar is a bit cramped, our fault to be honest we booked it.🤣🤣🤣

Since the new owners have taken over, the food from the kitchen is amazing! We all had clean plates! Thankyou for the warm welcome and quick serving team! Overall a really really good experience.

Very good service excellent quality food, all in all a lovely warm atmosphere.

£5.75 for a kids meal which consisted of Chicago town pizza from Iceland and mix platter £15 which also from Iceland steak full of fat and gristle only nice thing was homemade chips and service was good only good thing I can say about it

Everytime I come to this pub I am always made to feel so welcome by all the staff! The food and drinks are always lovely and well priced and the choices are excellent. Literally cannot fault it at all.

A bit of a hidden gem having driven past on numerous occasions I decided to give it a go. It didn't disappoint. A good sized menu available and the food (I did the steak pie for a main) was served hot and at a generous portion. The puds were also deliciously sweet and moreish! A great selection of beers on tap and a wide range of wines and spirits are also unavailable. Ample free off street parking makes this place one to return to very soon.

Just had maybe the best steak pie iv ever had and I get around. Swapped chips for mash no problem and even peas for veg. Amazing polite landlady and staff. I was going to have pudding but could only just manage to finish my drink. No chance of fitting more food. Will be back to try more items, one day.

Just had an unplanned visit here after breaking down on the main road outside. Pleasantly surprised by this lovely little pub. Great selection of food and drinks (alcoholic and non). Lovely friendly bar staff. Prices seem reasonable. Decent (although a little on the small side) toilets with deodorant/hairspray etc in-very nice touch, especially on such a warm day! Quick food service, greatly appreciated!! Thank you :)

Visited on a Friday evening with a pre booked table. Staff are very friendly. Interior is cosy however could do with an update. Waited around 50 minutes for our food from ordering. When food arrived it was nice however the steak was over cooked. Overall nice food.
