Yates's Halifax in Calderdale

I have to say this is one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while, to start with we used the app to order drinks the bar staff then advised we could get another cocktail within the 241 deal and gave us the other one. We then ordered food which Michelle delivered the whole time we have stayed here she has been happy and smiley and offered advice to everyone who has asked for it. She made our experience amazing.

First time I've eaten here and was really nice. Would eat here again. Music was good when the dj finally came. However they turned the air con on way too early whilst we were eating snd it it was freezing!

Nice bar. Average price on drinks. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Seems to be the local "kick off bar". My last 3 visits there's been big fights, the door staff sorted it pretty fast on 2 occasions but one time I had to get stuck in myself as they really did struggle.

Fabulous little Monday afternoon in Yates. Brilliant food, good atmosphere and the happiest bar tender ever called Michelle. Who could not do enough for us! Il come back even if it’s just to see her! Thanks Michelle :)

Hubby and I went out for tea. We went to Yates. Hubby ordered mixed grill and I had bbq chicken we both enjoyed it. The staff was friendly specially Michelle who came up several times to check everything was OK. The choice was good and puddings too at a very reasonable price. Would recommend.

Came for a little spot of lunch with my family. When we came in Michelle welcomed us when sat down at the table. When I went to the till to order the food Michelle was very helpfull with my food order and was lovely. The food was amazing and well worth the money. Will definitely be coming back after the service and food I've had today.

I went in with a friend for lunch and was served at the bar by a lady called Sammy she was so lovely,she brought our food to us then came back and asked if it was OK,which it was (fish,chips,peas) and she did it with a smile. Thankyou Sammy for lovely service

Food and service were very good, we all enjoyed our meal. 5 people, 5 meals and 5 drinks for under £25!Visited 8/3/2019 again 5 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful however I must say food was disappointing, I sent my chicken Kiev back was so over cooked I struggled to cut it . Staff was apologetic and offered me a free coffee. When I received my food the second time everyone else had finished eating :( unfortunately we didn't enjoy our food so it's unlikely we will be returning anytime soon :(Early chrismas dinner ... 15 November , our Friday group booked for Xmas lunch (6 in total) we all dined on 3 courses and finished with mince pie and coffee. Costing £10.99 per head ! Amazing value. We had 5 prawn cocktail and 1 tomato and basil soup. 6 Turkey dinner. 2 Xmas pud, 2 cheese and biscuits 1 cookie profiteroles and 1 plum and Apple pie then coffee and mince pies, everybody enjoyed the food the portions were ample and we all left stuffed ! The table was set lovely ready for our arrival crackers and Christmas hats, staff very friendly and helpful and table service was provided with drinks.CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR FIVE .... 8 DEC 2021We were met with a warm welcome from Samantha and Michelle and well looked after through our whole meal at Yates. The table looked lovely. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful and the atmosphere was good. A big thank you to Samantha and Michelle :) Merry Christmas Ladies.

Had a great time on Wednesday when we visited Yates. Food was excellent. Good value as always. Excellent service from Michelle as always. Nothing is to much trouble. Love the fact I can have a desert even though I am dairy free, because they have vegan deserts.
