Very warm welcome. Room with view is to die for very clean. Would recommend eating in especially the curry

Lovely place for a stay, they are just finishing of a bit of a refurbishment looking forward to seeing the place completely opened back up.

What a place! Wonderful setting and the most welcoming of landlord and landlady. Enjoy the views, fire, food, hospitality, history and pints!

This is the pub in the village for good beer. (Didn't have food, so can't comment.) Great range of locally sourced beers from pale to dark. All very tasty, well kept and well hopped. Our only problem was that the beers were so popular our favourites ran out!!

Great village pub with a splendid array of real ales. Friendly staff The food is fantastic, I had the best pub curry I have ever had. Better even than some Indian restaurants. Even the chapatis were good

Amazing little country bup, 12 great bears and couple ciders on offer, wines, gins. Really tidy. Landlord is a real cracker, funny guy. And great views from tables outside!

Can't picture a more ideal old world atmospheric pub. Full of nooks and cranies. Wholesome food with great service in beautiful surroundings.

Lovely old school pub. Run by a lovely couple (Sarah & Graham), who are real characters (as the pictures show) that have great banter, and are very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend an “old legover” - lovely pint 🤣

Overnight stop for a group of 10 cyclists - great beer, food hit the spot - simple menu but good quality (and plenty of it), proper pub atmosphere, great hosts (sarah and graham), lovely breakfast - very nice rooms. We will be back one day soon I hope!

Just had a three night stay at revamped New Inn. Owners have spent a lot of money and not cut any corners. Very welcoming and food and range of ales is superb. The New Inn has always lived in the shadow of the Craven Arms but is now set to give it serious competition.
