Stopped for a quick half to watch the Morris Dancing. Great spectacle. Especially the Sword dance.

We had steak pie and chips with a nice pint of Guinness. Both were fabulous. Highly recommend.

I stayed in Kettlewell for a few days and ate at this place twice. Both times the food was amazing (though a bit much), the service good (although the first evening it seemed a bit rushed), and the pub very cosy. Would definitely recommend the place if you're in Kettlewell.

Nice beer & an excellent steak pie. Really friendly lady serving behind the bar!

We popped in for an afternoon coffee and sweet treat. Nathan welcomed us in and was just a lovely person to meet. The coffee was delicious, the sweet treat was to die for and we were really impressed with this place. We can’t wait to try and stay here and experience an evening meal! Thanks again guys, and especially to Nathan!

Had a one night stay here. What a gem of a place.A very warm welcome on a cold wet day.Dog friendly, clean and comfortable rooms where even dog beds and towels were provided.Delicious food, great ale and a very pleasant place to while away the day. Special thanks to Jodie and Nathan who looked after us so well.Highly recommend this place.

Drinks a bit expensive, evening meal was very nice and not too pricey, staff were friendly, room small, not very clean, dusty and not vacumed very well, kettle too big for filling at the sink, had to unhook the shower to fill it. Breakfast was slow, they were short staffed but that is not an excuse for 'solid' poached eggs on toasted doorsteps!

Last minute booking for New Year. Glad they booked us in for meals on both nights as there is not too many eateries nearby. Food was way beyond.my expectations for a country pub absolutely 1st class and not overly expensive. Rooms comfortable, clean and modern if a little warm. Staff excellent and helpful.

Food was good. Nice flavours, hot, well presented and tasty. However I do feel like they may have lost the chef they previously had as the menu seems to be lacking imagination in places especially in comparison to menus of old. The front of house really need training. Plates left on tables for huge periods of time before being cleared, 25 minutes before taking orders, all really needs work. We were going to order desserts but at the time of writing this review have be sat here for 35 minutes waiting for plates to be cleared so we can order......anyway we're going to stop off and buy something from tesco rather than continue to wait.....there's £13.90 that could have been in the till if the wait wasn't quite so massive.

The atmosphere was warm and very cosy. The food was amazing! The bar tender and all the team were very helpful. We live 5 hours away, but planning to go back there one day soon again.
