Atmosphere was lovely, food nice but felt it was over priced £7.25 for 3 pieces of asparagus and a poached egg!!! Lovely though but pricey!

Stopped for breakfast Friday 1st April 2022. Was disgusting. Swimming in grease and could taste grease all day. Also, staff are always miserable. Won't be calling again.

Had tea and cake here with my wife and baby. Lovely food, and the staff were brill

We had a very nice lunch today. The Venision suite pudding with mash and red cabage was lovely, full of flavour. Nice atmosphere.

·

Food lovely and fresh and cooked to order. Really nice staff and wish I could give more than 5 stars

A nice little coffee shop and other shops to pop into on the way past. Cozy and quaint. Tasty coffee & cakes!

Just stopped off at this lovely little spot next to the A65. While I can say the food was lovely alas the service was not so, in fact so much so I doubt I'll be revisiting. All we ordered was Stew and while yes it was lovely, it was unfortunately cold - not usually an issue however there wasn't even an apology muttered to us. It's a Saturday afternoon and we were the only customers in the 'cafe', I understand that mistakes can happen however the gentleman on service didn't seem like he cared, I even had to approach the kitchen staff to have the food reheated rather than the waiter.-1 star for the cold food, still very nice once heated-1 star for service, disappointing being that the place seems quite smartService will have to improve.

Really great food. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff

This was a very nice location. We stopped off for a look around as it also had independent shops in the courtyard but more importantly for us an enclosed area to let the dogs out for a bit of fresh air on a long trip. The brasserie was stunning. Coffee good. Staff friendly. Also noticed an electric car station.

the 06/02/2018 I was travelling back to Edinburgh where I am living.I stopped by for lunch, and I was delighted to find such excellent hosts. I was served By Becca with great smile and passion; the ambient was in excellent order and very clean. The chef in the kitchen was very professional and served to me an excellent carrots soup and a fantastic mushrooms risotto AL DENTE! Perfetto !!Needless to say, I've had a very special Espresso with the right foam on top, and the taste also was very good. These guys, in my opinion, are doing a great job, they run the place very well, focused on their clients and keeping the right behaviour when they work. Also, the toilet was nice and tidy, and when I'd a look at the kitchen everything was nice and spotless as you can see, they work with an open kitchen plan . A few tables were already booked as there was the reservation ticket on them, so I think if you go there maybe you can phone before is better . The chef also was very friendly and happy to share with me a few words, so they left a very nice memory on my day.My best wishes guys and thanks again for the splendid service who give me !!Giuseppe Manzoli Private Chef .
