Went in, order two beers (very nice), and ordered the meal deal, one pizza and one side for £12. So I ordered a pizza and side, and my partner ordered a pizza and a side.A different server came over and told us we couldn't do this, we could only have the offer once between us and not one each. Seemed a bit odd, but fair enough.So we cancelled my order, and swapped my partners order from a vegan Veggie Volcano to the Very Very Vegan pizza. When making the swap my partner commented that we had to swap because I wouldn't want the spicy pizza, and obviously she is vegan.The server said, "So you're vegan but okay with dairy?", my partner said no, she's vegan, hence why ordering a pizza that is not only marked as vegan on the menu, but is also called Very Very Vegan, only for the server to tell us that they use dairy cheese on the two vegan pizzas.Therefore, they are not vegan are they. We cancelled the food and just stuck to the beer.

Had the Mac and cheese with a twist today. The twist being it had sprouts, bacon, turkey, stuffing, macaroni pasta n lashings of cheese. Absolutely beautiful! Also had a small portion of halloumi fries and an apple an elderflower mocktail. Would definitely return!

Brilliant pizzas and exceptional service from this friendly restaurant. They managed to accommodate a group of us for food and drinks despite it being after final service time, and did so with great enthusiasm and friendly chat. Delicious thin based pizzas with a good selection of vegetarian offerings, real ales and cocktails. A heartwarming encounter for our whole group, thank you.

Very nice food, interesting menu choices. Lots of lovely fresh ingredients. Thought the family meal deal was excellent value.

Nice setting and atmosphere. A little chilly as the ceilings in the dining area are high and there are many large sash windows. Service quick to take our drinks order, which is good but also quick to take our food order. We felt rushed to order and had to ask for extra time three times. Also we had only one menu between two of us to browse. Food average. Pizza base thin and crispy and generous toppings. Pasta cooked well but the Mediterranean pasta had too many olives (green and black). I asked for extra vegetables to compensate when I removed at least fifteen from the dish. Chef was very obliging on this issue and thanks are extended again here. Sadly the pasta dish overall was too sweet from an over zealous application of balsamic reduction. It should never have been used in my opinion, but I least I know for next time...no olives and no balsamic reduction. Wine good value although it would have been nice if the first glasses had been poured for us by the server. Loved the salt and pepper pots.
