Really enjoyed going back to Le Caveau. Great menu with lots of choice, nice wine list, really friendly place. The food was excellent! Recommended!

Absolutely stunning meal, if it's on your bucket list to be blown away by food please try this restaurant. Me and my wife visited on Sat 11/12/2021 after coming for the Christmas Market from barnsley. We were Absolutely over the moon with the food. It is gorgeous. The wine is great too 👍 😄 😀

It was our first visit to Le Caveau but won’t be our last !The setting and atmosphere was terrific and matched in equal measure by the staff delivering great service but moreover outstanding food from Mark and his kitchen team 👍Highly recommend and deserves the 5 star rating 👏🏻👏🏻

Well what a disappointment ….we have been here before several times, for more years than I care to mention…..but now under newer management……there is no doubt the food is good, but on this occasion we were seated in the entrance where in the past was the waiting area to have a drink to wait until your table was ready….so no ambiance from the restaurant …just a heater blowing hot air in the back your neck and the door to the restaurant not shutting….not a problem to us but obviously to the staff who kept trying to shut it……my husband had booked Le Caveau for my birthday so to say we were disappointed is an understatement …..we decided we couldn’t stay and to be honest the lady that welcomed us….had a “ don’t care attitude “ …which made it worse …she didn’t seem bothered…even if she wasn’t she could have pretended she was a little bothered…when my husband booked it he said it was for my birthday….anyway…it will be our last visit….and mainly because of the couldn’t care less attitude…….

In my opinion, the best restaurant in Skipton. A cosy little place with only about 20 covers, so make sure you book at least a month in advance. Not cramped at all though, just nicely spaced tables. My wife and I went in on a Thursday evening for her birthday meal and it was all excellent. Inside looks like it was a cellar, with arched, low ceilings, a very traditional looking space. Very good attentive and knowledgeable service. Highly recommended.

Some of the tastiest food I've ever eaten with the friendliest and most helpful service.Plenty of attention to detail, water already on the table, hand sanitizer on every table and lightning service. A must visit!

An oasis in the high street. Booking is highly reccomended to avoid disappointment. Mark and the team make your visit 1 to remember serving amazing food and wine with excellent service. We have just enjoyed a taster evening and the pictures show the delights we were fed. Beautiful flavours were accompanied by carefully selected wines on each course. A fabulous evening leaving us well sated and ready for bed.
