Amazing butchers. Bought all our Easter weekend BBQ meat and bread from here. It was outstanding. There's a lovely looking cafe here with amazing views of the countryside but didn't have time to eat there

Indulged in a scrumptious date and apricot slice with an excellent pot of tea. Enjoyed watching the lambs in the adjacent field and the abundant pink blossom on the cherry trees in the garden. All very pleasing and uplifting.

We have been to Country Harvest for over 20 years and the cafe has been a firm favourite and the food in the delicatessen/butchers has always looked amazing. We went in on a Saturday afternoon to get something for our evening meal and were very disappointed by the lack of choice and poor service from the butchery. Sadly disappointed that it was all pre packed and could have come from anywhere in the world.

Incredibly expensive cafe. Food was good, but wow.

We stopped here for food on the way back home from the Lakes. Had a quick look online and saw that the food has won awards so thought it must be good. We weren't disappointed, proper homemade food. We both went for pie and mash and were surprised at how big a portion of pie we got, it was very generous. The only issue we had, the mash was cold on both plates. Mixed it into the warm gravy and all was fine. We will definitely be going back to try more from the menu.

Very friendly staff. Cleaning every table, and menus. Had the cream of vegetable soup which was lovely but you only get half a bun. Did notice than someone asked for a coke and observed the staff fill the glass from one of those two litre bottles. Quite a mark up when the coke was priced at £1.95. Nice to see that the pot of tea is a good size and not one of those small one cup jobs.

Coffee was a tad bitter, nice toastie though. Have to say though the woman on the Butcher counter was handling different meats without gloves! Otherwise a very nice farm shop.

Country Harvest is a great place to stop for something to eat; all the food is delicious. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes. I have always found the menu caters for people like myself who are coeliac and the staff are keen to help once they know. The food shop has a very good range of food including including for gifts. There is also a gift and clothes shop has many attractive things and it's rare if I leave without buying something. At one side of the car park there is another large shop which sells items for the home. At Christmas it is a real treat to visit and pick up a beautiful ornament or Christmas tree. The Country Harvest is well worth a visit.
