Fantastic staff. Very friendly and helpful. We ordered food as well as a drink, which was served quickly. We waited a while for our food, but it was served piping hot and beautifully presented. The bill was a surprise too, a very nice surprise. Would thoroughly recommend this place. A little gem

We are a group of walkers who at this time of the year do a short walk from Embsay. The Elm Tree is a great little pub to finish the day with a meal. The prices are good, the service and atmosphere are excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

A group of 30 of us descended on the pub one Saturday... Beer, cider, orange juice, coffee... Lovely place, but the walkers area was a little packed with us all.. Lovely gem of a village feel.

Just returned from a weeks holiday and stopped just down the road from this Gem of a pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. We went through most of the menu whilst we were there and couldn't fault anything, really great value for money. They also have a good selection of cask ales which were great. Well worth a visit if you are in or around Embsay.

Superb afternoon/ evening spent here today. First time here, welcomed by locals and staff alike and enjoyed an excellent meal that would have cost twice as much in Leeds, tremendous value and great quality. Looking forward to the next time 🙂

Superb pub and Karen, the landlady is totally top notch. We were booked in to watch the England quarter final and I don't think I've met anyone so accommodating to adults, bears and dogs! Thanks for a brilliant night to Karen and the whole team - you were all great.
