Really enjoyed our meal. Home cooked food. Portions were typical Yorkshire size, suitable for walkers. Loved the location which was peaceful and away from town. Reasonable prices and accommodated food allergy.

Camping nearby, by far our favourite pub visit. Absolutely what a pub is about: well kept beer & delicious, hearty home cooked food, with some delightful chat with others at the bar, landlord /landlady very friendly. (We liked the kids cutlery; nice touch.)

Lovely friendly place, a very popular camper van stopover. Nice pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Easy access to lots of hill walking

So pleased we found this place. Stopped here in our motorhome at the weekend. The pub is in a lovely setting with plenty of room to park up. We enjoyed a few pints of Timothy Taylor Bolt Maker, which was a cracking pint, before enjoying a some great home cooked food - the chips were excellent (in fact so was my yorkshire pud with cumberland sausage)

Walked here from Horton in ribblesdale and what a lovely friendly pub it was,we only had drinks but had a lovely break after our walk. As we got talking to the staff about our return journey, the wonderful Tracey offered to take us back to the pods where we were staying. It turned out she was good friends with the owners of the place we were staying.I thought this was a most generous thing to do.Thank you Tracey .

Would greatly recommend this pub! We are here for dinner and the food was excellent! The service was great and the lady behind the bar was very talkative which was nice as she gave up tips about the area which we could use to explore the place with a bit of insider knowledge! The drinks were all very nice and while the decor is a little dated the feel is that of your typical cosy English pub. There is even a games room!

Been to Helwith Bridge Inn a few times now. The food is delicious and huge generous portion sizes. Prices are cheap. The owners are friendly and very welcoming. Visit, you won’t be disappointed!

What a great pub !We weren't able to make use of the lovely Riverside terrace because of the weather. However, we had a nice lunchtime snack and returned for dinner. Really nice and varied menu, including vegetarian choices. Perfect Real Ales as well !Dog friendly too.The service was prompt and really friendly,we highly recommend the Helwith Bridge Inn ! We found the place on the Park4Night app and decided to have our first "pub stopover" in our van here. They allow campervans to stay in their carpark if you eat and drink in the pub.The pub was ace! Proper English, independent, country pub, full of lovely folk. I had the steak and ale pie which was great, washed down with their house Bitter (£3.80) which is brewed locally especially for them.Don't expect any fancy gastro pub, just proper good honest hospitality and grub.Had a lovely nights sleep in their carpark. Although the lorries going to and from the local quarry are a bit noisy in the morning. A quick drive down to settle for a walk and all in all a lovely time was had!I've attached photos of their menu (as of Jan 2022)We will definately return!Follow our adventures on Instagram @tansythefordtransit

After a long scenic and strenuous hike over the dales, we stopped off here for a bite to eat and we were really pleased we did so. A warm, cosy pub, very welcoming hosts and a cheerful atmosphere with other customers. We ordered the steak and ale pie and a lamb Henry, both huge portions and delicious, accompanied by an assortment of five vegetables and chunky chips. It really topped off a lovely day out and will definitely return when next in the area. Highly recommended!!
