Great cafe and quality food. Baking done on site by the lovely young man (sorry, forgot your name!) and always served with a smile. You've certainly raised the bar in the area.

Makes a great cafe stop for cyclists. Great selection of cake & the coffee was excellent. Will definitely go back!

Very, very slow service, I did get a rather curt message from the owner stating that I hadn't mentioned the quality of the food and beverage and that maybe I would rather use MacDonald's. well that is true, I didn't mention the quality because it was so dreadful, especially as we had waited for about half an hour before it was served and McDonalds certainly do a better coffee than the one we received. As we had waited so long my partner decided to buy the sausage roll which did turn out quite nice, but we wont be visiting again.

Can't give an opinion on the cafe as we didn't really use it, just the car park, was £1 for an hour and they had a toilet outside in the car park which was good. Will be back shortly to try the cafe don't worry.

Although a long journey from Manchester, yet the sunny weather made it win win situation. Although parking is a bit dear. However, the overall experience was great. The depth of water is walkable. So the whole family enjoyed. The toilets and nearby cafe closes at 1700 Hrs so plan the trip accordingly.

Love this place. Great location, beautiful scenery. Cafe is ok, typical Dales theme park stuff and prices.Watch out for the car park next to the cafe. Keep your ticket. You might well need it later. They record your reg number and are happy to fire off ,100 quid penalty notices of the can't find a ticket with a matching reg.Pity the machine keyboard was bollixed when I visited.

The car park is.on the right hand side just as you enter Burnsall village when coming from Bolton Abbey it is now a ANPR so make sure you pay and exit on time ,we parked up and went for a snack at the Riverbank cafĆ© we ordered two sausage rolls and two coffees which came to Ā£12.50 which I thought was a bit expensive ,served in a paper bag and paper cups I understand that Covid restrictions are in place but Crockery couldāve been used for the price charged , The toilets are open to the public and are maintained by the local villagers so please donate the recommended fee of 20p per person .

Beautiful place with lovely walks up the river, and somewhere to have a picnic right by the river. The pub is very expensive, but great location for a cool lager on a hot day.

Just discovered this great little cafe. Open all year Thursday to Sunday each week evidently. Good coffee and great food. Definitely worth a look. Proper cycle parking is a bonus.
