Royal Spice in Craven

Really good value set menu. Good food with great service.

This has been our go to place in Settle for over 15 years. Whether we sit in or take out, the food is authentic and very flavoursome- not just the bland and sweet food you get in some Indian restaurants. Staff are friendly and a great location on the town square.

Takeaway was so good that we ate in the following day. Really friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere and the food....... cooked to absolute PERFECTION. The finest Naan bread we've ever eaten.I can't reccomend this place enough, it is probably the best curry/indian we have ever been to.

Best Indian meal I've ever had. Good varied choice. We both had something never had before and both were lovely and full of flavour!

Naan and rice outstanding - vindaloo moderately OK I reckon they spiced it with loads of excess curry 🥘 powder rather than with chilli's and spices. I will go back but I'd skip the hot 🔥 options for something the chef specialises in...

Ordered a takeaway, absolutely fantastic meal. Order a good hour before you want to eat. ( not a complaint) it was quiet but asked to come back in 40 minutes. Fine as we were in the pub anyway. Food was really Really nice. Well done. We will return

Had a takeaway tonight not impressed at all .... only over this neck of the woods for short break at family members caravan ... rice was just aired seemed like last nite rice ... chicken in meal was chewy. Poppadoms weren't one bit crispy.

Excellent curry. Called in while on a caravan holiday. Very nice.

I ordered a meal here for collection this week and it was incredible! I never actually order food/takeaway but was feeling for some Indian food and I was not disappointed! I received lovely and polite service over the phone and was greeted warmly when I went to pick up the meal. The portions were huge, chapatis were fresh and the vegetable dishes flavourful. Definitely going back soon.

A very popular restaurant offering eat in and takeaway. They are not licensed and offer Bring Your Own Beer/Wine, given there is a CoOp just opposite this is not a issue. Very friendly staff, following COVID guidelines, sanitiser on entry, reduced seating, contactless/cash payment. Very fresh and tasty menu, garlic naan fresh, light and melts in the mouth. Very good size portions. Booking is recommended as the seating goes fast. Very nice overrall.
