Nice enough little cafe , dog friendly, good coffee..HOWEVER , because of a muddle up with their bread delivery my ' toast ' was old ( stale) buttered white bread , toasted !- served butter side own so I wouldn't t notice ! ( £2 50 ) The dog was happy !

Nice place for a cuppa half way through the circular walk with toilet facilities.

I'm slowly getting used to going inside places since the lockdowns. Yesterday, encouraged by the good covid precautions at the Cavendish Pavilion, we ventured into here after a good walk. All was going well, friendly welcome, good pot of tea. Then, we noticed the lad who served us was sniffing. The owner(?) asked him if he was OK...no, he felt rough but hadn't had a test because it had just come on this morning. Why did she not send him straight home, why hadn't he worn a mask, knowing he'd be serving teas etc.?We left the tea and the cafe immediately. Seems very irresponsible.

Loved it. Oven fresh scones and a great big pot of tea. Perfect to celebrate mine and my mum's birthdays.

Coffee nice, but a bit weak, nice cakes. Friendly helpful staff.

a lovely place to sit outside for coffee and cake, two stars because they continue to serve everything in disposable cups, plates and cutlery - really hope they're not using the pandemic as an excuse to be so wasteful?

Our first time there. It was busy so we sat outside (covid precautions) A good selection of cakes although they go fast and a good selection of food.

We pulled up in the car park to check our map as we noticed a sign that said no parking charge for an hour and it was the only place to safely pull in from the main road.Within about 2 minutes, a woman came over to our car and signalled for us to wind down our window, and made us feel like we needed to explain ourselves. When we said we would only be there for a minute, she gave us a 'fine!' and walked off. Not sure whether she was just having a bad day, but her attitude was appalling.

Good food for a snack. When we went it was quite busy and so took a long time to get our order. Nice Tea Room though in a very nice area.
