Very disappointing visit today. Three of our group ordered the pork dinner but it was fatty and tasteless. The vegetables, potatoes, etc were extremely bland. We did tell the waitress. My grandson enjoyed the chicken burger. Thought the meal was pricey but would have been worth it if the food had been better.

Called in on a Sunday not expecting to get seated as we had not booked but the staff were most helpful and found us a table. The roast was excellent, will definitely be returning to this friendly pub with great food

First of all can I just say that the pub is lovely, the staff are All very friendlyAnd polite. The food is delicious ( that we had today). Here is my gripe. Today we ordered starters ( all lovely, no complaints there) then we ordered 4 Sunday lunch. The total price for 4 Sunday lunch (.not inc our starters or drinks ) was almost £60.When it arrived I was shocked to see one small half a carrot each, one small half of parsnip each, 2 long stemmed broccoli, but with virtually nothing on it…. Just a stem, and a small amount of cabbage, 2 small roast potatoes, and our meat obviously.A Minute amount of gravy, which left a Yorkshire pudding ( a home made one at that) absolutelyBone dry. ( only get Yorkshire with beef)I was expecting some more gravy to arrive, and some condiments… mint sauce, apple sauce, mustard, horseradish…. But there was nothing offered or arrived. By the time I had managed to request some and then Waited for it to arrive my dinner was luke warm.We all finished our dinner, and what we had was tasty, but we all agreed that it was extremelyExpensive for what was produced.I am a roast dinner lover, and have been to some fantastic places. This was a lovely dinner but the price should be reduced by at least £5 to £7.I did feel like we had had our leg lifted today, and especially with the lack of attention re the condiments/ gravy etc.it will not stop me going again, but I would never order a Sunday roast again.

The staff were really nice and helpful. My friend didn't have a great choice of vegetarian meals but the waitress went to talk to the chef and a meal was organised. I just wanted soup and chips and that was no bother either. Well done all concerned.

We booked a table last minute via the booking App, we brought our dog in too as we didn't want to leave her in the car. We were placed on a really big table with plenty of room for us and the dog and was very well attended to. Great starters which came out in really good time and the main courses were really nice too. We live fairly local and will be back a lot more knowing how accommodating all the team were.

Great lunch time dining experience excellent food great service. First time my wife and I had visited but certainly not the last. warm cosy atmosphere, very clean, tastefully decorated we can't fault anything about our experience. even the cost was really fair.

Me & Mrs C called in our way back from Grassington, glad we did as this place was amazing. Very friendly staff & the food was great. I had the fish & chips with peas. It was just enough. Mrs C had the Lamb.Once we paid our bill we were given a couple of discount vouchers for our next visit along with an envelope and told not to open until came again. On the table a week before Christmas was a sheet of Christmas jokes which was a very nice touch.Loved our visit.

As we drove past Skipton to a wedding....we decided to stop here for a lunch. What a great decision!! Great service, great food, just a great pub. Not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for and well worth the visit! Highly recommended!

Brilliant food and quick service. Some of the nicest pub food we've ever eaten, really friendly staff and a great lovely atmosphere. Very dog friendly too which is a bonus!

First time here but a beautifully decorated, tasteful romantic pub/restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with the exception of the king prawn starter which needed developing more as a dish, the flavour lacked something and the presentation was a bit basic. The wine choice was excellent and coffee hot and nicely flavoured. We had a really nice evening.
