Excellent home cooked meals at very reasonable prices. Served with a smile by friendly helpful staff. Dog friendly too. We had steak pie which was packed with meat and very tasty. Mum had lasagne which was very big and served with lovely salad and which she said was the best she had had in a cafe or pub.

We visited Dale's Cottage cafe and grill today, and what an absolute pleasure. We was able just to walk in myself, husband and daughter in her pram.We had lovey heart food and at lunchtime, was very tempted with a homely pudding.Husband would highly recommend the gammon, pineapple and chips - gorgeous rice pudding to finish. And I had the hot roast beef baguette and tempted with sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Will visit again on our next trip to skipton. Thank you to the friendly very accommodating staff again xxxx

Was recommended to try here by a few people and it didn't dissapoint. Extensive menu which did not compromise the quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh, hot and homemade. My friend also thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I will be back :)

Never had a bad meal here, because its so popular its best to book if you know your going to be in Skipton. Great service , meals always hot and you don't have to wait that long considering how busy it is.

Third time I've been in as many months. I can honestly say that the large breakfast(exchange black pudding for an egg for me) is consistently excellent and value for money, and always a friendly service.

We stopped here for lunch whilst out and about in the area. It has a huge menu with everything from a toasted tea cake to a Sunday roast!I had a jacket potato with tuna Mayo and a side salad which was very nice. Good value too :)

Lovely breakfast after doing the 3 peaks challenge the day before. It was a very nice shop, with very friendly staff. I ordered the full english vegetarian breakfast with mushrooms, and a truly amazing hot chocolate. The hash browns were particularly good. Overall a great experience with some lovely food.
