The New Inn in Craven

Walked to this pub in Appletreewick from campsite to find it closed, cars in car park but pub doors locked, appeared to have a private party in back garden.. So didn't get in, couldn't order food or drink.. So for us not a good experience.. & weather was red hot so our group would of drank loads... Oh well...

Graham & Sarah are the friendliest Landlords in The Dales. They do the tastiest gourmet toasties. They allowed me to charge my electric bike battery. I cannot recommend this pub highly enough. They open at 10:30 a.m., which is brilliant for cyclists & walkers. The food is organic, seasonal and tastes Heavenly.I can’t wait to come back! They also have beautiful, quiet ensuite rooms. It really is a best kept secret gem in The Dales.

Good choice of beers and very pleasant lady behind the bar. Shame about the know it all landlord sitting drinking a pint and giving his perceived view of life to all who would listen, from his stool in front of the bar. Really put us off having another drink, so we left. Dog friendly, so that was a plus.

Lovely, cosy place. The owners were nothing but welcoming and helpful during our stay. Comfy beds and the continental breakfast was a nice treat. Thank you, we will definitely return

A proper Yorkshire pub in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Always has a good selection of beers which are well kept. The landlord is welcoming and a fire is always burning in the grate adding to the atmosphere.

Lovely place for a stay, they are just finishing of a bit of a refurbishment looking forward to seeing the place completely opened back up.

Amazing little country bup, 12 great bears and couple ciders on offer, wines, gins. Really tidy. Landlord is a real cracker, funny guy. And great views from tables outside!

Can't picture a more ideal old world atmospheric pub. Full of nooks and cranies. Wholesome food with great service in beautiful surroundings.

Lovely old school pub. Run by a lovely couple (Sarah & Graham), who are real characters (as the pictures show) that have great banter, and are very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend an “old legover” - lovely pint 🤣
