The Old Swan Inn in Craven

Great staff, very clean hotel all new The meals fantastic, good choices on menu, hot plates. Good parking.

Came last night and had a nice experience.Attentive waiting staff and the vegan burger and vegan pie was lovely.tonight we both ordered fish pie which came not heated through.This was sorted and the second lot was hot but didn't have much fish in either pie.The veg was cooked nice.The cheese board had a nice cheese selection but could have done with butter for the dry crackers and a bit of salad or apple to do to it.A shame some customer discount couldn't have been afforded after asking which did leave bit of a poor customer relations feeling. Lovely pub and surroundings just a shame we didn't have as nice a time as the previous night.

Our second visit in two nights, enjoyed it so much the first time we had to return. Jade was our server on the first visit, we sat in the library and were celebrating our anniversary. We both ordered the rib-eye steak which were both cooked to perfection and so tasty, best I’ve had in a long time.Our server tonight was Jack, very attentive, didn’t have to wait long for food to arrive, which was piping hot and again delicious. Jack checked with us a short time later to make sure we were happy with everything and as all was ok left us to enjoy. Empty plates cleared quickly and Jack returned to see if we required dessert. We opted to share one, as we were a little full. When we asked for the bill we didn’t have to wait around for it to arrive. Both Jack and the previous nights server are a credit to The Old Swan, nothing was too much trouble and we felt really well looked after, thank you both.(sorry no photo’s, forgot, was enjoying it too much)

We enjoyed a lovely anniversary meal and stay here. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. The Inn is beautiful, very tastefully decorated. The room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and classy. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Popped in just for drinks. Just opened again after a fire and has been refurbished. More up market and comfortable than before. Garden is really nice to sit outside in summer.We did look at the menu and will be definitely visiting to eat.P.S. The toilets are lovely too !

We’ve just come back from a brilliant weekend at The Old Swan in Gargrave. The rooms we’re decorated to an exceptional standard it had everything we needed for fab stay in the Dales. We didn’t hear any noise from downstairs and the pub was full both nights. We stayed for food one night and breakfast both mornings it was delicious and lots to choose from. Julie and the staff we’re excellent especially Sharon and Jack they could not do enough for us. We would highly recommend a stay here if you are going to explore the Dales.

Newly reopened this is an excellent pub. Great choice of good beer and drinks. Excellent food. Excellent service with very friendly staff. Also have rooms. We shall stay here the next time we visit Gargrave.

Lovely food and reasonably priced wine. Lovely staff. Jade and Jem served us admirably. Only just reopened after a fire. Hope it flourishes.

Had the most amazing weekend staying over in the new rooms, absolutely beautiful rooms, very spacious, nice peaceful place to be. The pub is amazing, food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind and welcoming! Absolutely amazing service. Highly recommend a visit or even a weekend away, Julie the manager is so welcoming and nothing is a bother to her. Thank you for the most amazing weekend, we will be back xx

Just been to the opening evening of the 'New Old Swan'. Beautifully set out inside. Fantastic set of beers on offer, and great service throughout. Served by 'Pippa', who couldn't have done more for me whilst I was there. Food was delicious, and a really enjoyable evening meeting new people. Will be visiting again soon, and make sure you make this your local in Gargrave. Great opening night!
