Never had a bad meal or service here its a little gem, after a full day in the forest a pint is just what you need and then showered and changed and back for a wonderful home cooked meal then bed, then back for breakfast you can't go wrong

Properly delicious home cooked food, and an absolute bargain given the prices. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Can't recommend it highly enough, frankly. Definitely have the chips.

By far the best place to eat in this area, food is always superb and very reasonably priced for the quality and portions you get. All home made quality produce. Can not recommend this place enough and if you like home made chips then this is definitely a must.

Three of us had lunch here today and it was lovely great quality and cooked fresh .The deserts are gorgeous and home cooked the waiter is polite and realy helpful.I really liked the toilets not often café have a bidet in the toilet and the option of washing you bum after getting caught short in the woods really made the visit worth while.

Only had a lunchtime snack, but it was excellent, the chips are top notch. Definitely call in again.

The Old Vicarage at Tosside is, in normal times a lovely restaurant/bistro set in a delightfully bucolic setting with spectacular views across the Ribble Valley to Ingleborough and beyond. However it cannot open normally in these Covid times, so it has reinvented itself as a gate side take-away with great success. The menu is basic but delightful (see my photos) and wholesome. Stop at the gate, read the menu, phone your order and wait. It wasn’t long before the food was delivered to us. Ideal for passing walkers, cyclists or oldies like us who sat in the car in the restaurant car park and the food was brought to us whilst we enjoyed the beautiful view. The food was basic cafe food, but well cooked, well presented and all served on recyclable plates etc, with friendly service. Excellent. There are no toilet facilities available at the moment.
