The Punch Bowl in Craven

Sticky tables. Steak and ale pies had very hard pastry. We weren't offered dessert.

Quite literally the finest pie I've had in my life. Steak like butter, pastry like air, gravy like.... Gravy. Its nice, treat yourself.

Had Sunday lunch today, flat Yorkshire pudding, tasteless beef with gristle, one roast potato, small mash, small cauliflower cheese, (watery) and carrots and parsnips. Needed some greens on the plate. Looked insipid. Waste of money. Ate it as we were starving, told waitress and she said ‘sorry ‘

Been a few times food always freshly cooked and very nice. Never been at weekends so I'm assuming it's just as good.

Food was good and staff engaging and helpfulQuite a wait for the food but is was worth it.One down point. Table was clean but felt sticky. Change their bio spray?

We went as a works Christmas meal and few drinks. The food was awesome. I had a Christmas meal which was cooked just right. The others had other meals, every one really enjoyed the food. The staff are friendly. The pub was clean and well decorated. We will be booking as a Company again for a staff night out. The rice is what you would expect to pay for a quality meal. Still cheaper than a lot of restaurants. Recommended.

We ate here the burgers were seemingly well presented and great value at 2 for £12. The chicken wings starters were great. The keralan curry was a bit odd as served with both rice and chips, could have had poppadoms/nan raita instead of chips. Would have been nice to see some better choice options on the menu. Food was good

We went in for lunch during the week and we got the 2 for 1 burger meal. It was really good. The burgers were great and they came with proper French fries and a very nice coleslaw. The service was good, the food came out really quickly and we'll definitely be going back.

Really nice place love the deco and staff and the food was well worth a visit. And not too pricey always a bonus 👌
