Had no idea how good the pies were from this place! I had come to enjoy some of their beer which is well known for being superb. As well as the cosy feel to the pub (helped by a big warm fire), it had a great atmosphere - kids playing outside, local farmer lads at the bar, people enjoying the meals, mountain bikers, motor bikers - everyone was made welcome by the friendly, attentive hosts😀👍

Went for lunch on bank holiday. Food was absolutely amazing, pub was lovely, and staff were so friendly. Highly recommend!!

Quite probably the best pub I've been to! Stunning scenery from the garden, great "lamb" beers (brewed behind the pub) and pub grub. The staff were brilliant too. I'll hopefully be back soon.

#1 pie of my life. Certainly in the top 5 pints too - the IPA brewed behind the pub was a standout after a long walk!. Welcoming staff and set in a stunning dale. Cannot fault it, will certainly be back.

Called in for lunch for three people today, beef suet pudding, piggy burger and award-winning Littondale lamb pie - amazzzzing food. Not heard of this pub and stumbled on it quite accidentally. Staff were just lovely - with the perfect amount of attentiveness. We were so impressed, that my hubby and I got home and booked a two day stay in one of their beautiful rooms for May 2022. Just too much of a gem to ignore! Thank you Queens Arms!!

Booked Sunday lunch on a recommendation & wasn’t disappointed. A lovely traditional pub with a roaring fire & super friendly staff. We had roast beef & a roast belly pork & both were delicious & beautifully presented. Didn’t have puds but they looked fabulous. Will definitely go again.

Stayed close to this pub for a family members special birthday. Booked ahead for meals. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Meals were lovely and plentiful. Would highly recommend.

Visited with the family whilst staying locally on a short break. Reassuring Covid-secure with all staff wearing masks, with a decent selection of fine brewed-onsite ales (try the IPA) and a substantial food menu including some wonderful specials and the artisan pie menu. We ate in the lounge area which was nice enough but felt a bit empty and unfurnished, and a tad uncomfortable ... a few cushions and upholstery on the benches would have made this a five-star review.

Came to the pub on the recommendation of a book I have on pub walks in Yorkshire. After a nice walk with our flat coated retrievers on an unfortunately drizzly day, we arrived at the pub and were greeted by very friendly staff and a roaring fire which dried us off pretty quickly. Perfect! The food was very good and the portion sizes were very generous as well. We will definitely be coming to the pub again in the spring when the weather is nicer.

Last weekend I was there for a family meal for 11 of us. The food was amazing. The prawns were beautiful in the starter, the main of scampi also delicious & the dessert was amazing. It's been a long time since I've had such fresh and lovely food. The service was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble.Thank you for making our meal out so enjoyable.
