Good friendly pub with a great selection of drinks.

March 2022 we had a lovely Sunday dinner here. Beef and all the trimmings. Good beers too. Host and chef professional and friendly.

Had a great Sunday lunch, the food was superb and the 2 pints of larger went down a treat. Highly recommend.

A fab little pub, great homemade food, catered for 10 with no problems tonight, quick to serve and helped us out as much as possible. Deffo recommend this place for future.

Always a friendly welcome from Tony and Sedge. The beers are well kept and a good variety of wines and spirits. Looking forward to getting back to eating inside as well, the food is always first class.

Such a nice pub, camped nearby with a few friends and we discovered this pub and ended up in it on both nights! Really friendly owners who we had a good laugh with, really good welcoming feel, lovely pints and amazing food, we had pizzas there and they were perfect, will have to make another journey back just for this pub!

While this isn't my part of the world I am lucky enough to have a very good friend who lives locally. We went to have a beer and some food and both were great. The beer I had was Moorhouses Bitter and an excellent pint it was too. The food was really enjoyable as well. I chose chicken cooked in bacon and it was a very tasty plateful. Just the right amount....not a heap of food but a very well cooked enjoyable tasty dish. Service was great, attentive without overdoing it.
