Great views, nice staff, extensive menu, freshly prepared food with reasonable prices and boosted further by being fully licensed!

·

Fantastic views over the Priory and some of the best scones I have tasted.

Dog friendly! Superb views! Gorgeous garden terrace! Excellent house white wine! Food 😍I had one of the best warm scones and home made jam that I’ve ever had. We really love this cafe, we’ve been visiting for years and will never go anywhere else when we visit.

Nice little cafe hidden away. Walked in to a lovely smell of fire. With nice interior. Sadly the little boys room was a chilly stroll outside. We ordered some coconut milk coffees and the owner did explain that the milk wasn't correct. He did offer to make a different coffee which was lovely. Think it was just bad timing. Will pop in again mid bike ride and see if I can pop this 4* to a 5*

Excellent location, overlooking Bolton Abbey and first class food and coffee. Following our walk along the river we returned and had another coffee with a piece of cake. Pleasant staff, serving with a smile. I would highly recommend.

A Lovely place, outside seating with Fabulous View of the Abbey 👍

·

Lovely spot, very cosy and friendly. Loved the fireplace, the portions were good and the food was tasty.

Two lovely young ladies front of house. The best ham panini I have ever had, there was so much ham on I could have done with my best teeth in 😄

·

Worth a visit just for the views alone of the abbey. Nice food good service

Unfortunately they stopped serving hot food early at 3.25pm so was unable to sample any. Had walked 9 miles so tried twice to get just a sandwich but no go. Outdoor seating overlooking the River Wharfe, good vistas. Loos. Table service. Covid safe. You need to wait outside by the door to be seated at a table. Hot chocolate was fine and the one morsel of food I could still acquire, lemon and blueberry cake, was perfect, light and tasty. The assistant manager, Ben, was friendly, approachable and hardworking. Would have liked to try their food but twasn't to be. Tother only minor negative was the iced water I had requested came in a hot glass, oooo, big no no. Have worked in hospitality for years and that was absolutely drummed in as irrefutably non do'able. Does throw you when you are expecting a nice ice cold drink, only to be gripping the equivalent of a freshly boiled kettle..... Would need to revisit in order to do a fuller, more complete review. Thanks Ben, was a pleasure to chat with you and hope to see you again.
