The Traddock in Craven

Another wonderful trip and overnight stay at this extremely welcoming and comfortable hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the accommodation is luxurious and the food delicious. We look forward to returning again sometime soon...

Our third visit here! It's just delightful. Fabulous setting nestled in Austwick village. Our room was superb (9), gorgeous dinner and wine and a good breakfast. The staff are just lovely. Efficient, friendly and very helpful. We love it here and will always stop over when we are visiting Yorkshire.

My favourite place. Its comfortable and luxurious. All the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and I'm slowly working my way to staying in each one. Plenty of seating downstairs so you can always find somewhere to relax. Nice well kept grounds too, with more seating if it's nice out. Good local pub for a few pints if you want a change of scene and great base for walking. Good choice of breakfast and it's delicious.

We had a wonderful Sunday meal, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! The building is beautiful and makes you feel you’re in a different time. We had coffee by the open fire and honestly didn’t have much motivation to leave. Hope to come back soon!

Wonderful, warm, welcoming, friendly and fantastic food, this gorgeous little hotel has it all. You are greeted with a lovely, warm and cheery welcome, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are professional but more importantly, friendly and approachable but the cherry on the cake is the food, the evening meals are top restaurant quality but whatever you do try the tasting menu, it is sublime, the most wonderful flavours and textures combine to give you a fantastic taste experience! Can't wait to return.

We, and our dog, were warmly welcomed. Our room was beautiful and the food was the most delicious that we have ever eaten. The lovely grounds and gardens added to our pleasure.

Peace, quiet and relaxation is what the Traddock is all about. Our room 14 Gapping Gill was beautiful, the huge bed and wonderful bedding make you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. The staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. Good choices at breakfast but no buffet, due to Covid! We would say that the portions on the cooked breakfast are a tad on the small size, but are nicely presented. We would love to return one day and would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel and have stayed several times, however felt slightly let down this time as room on this occasion was quite noisy with a door banging somewhere constantly into the night and a rather loud motor intermittently running throughout the night. A new soft close mechanism on the offending door would go a long way to helping with this. Beautiful room, comfortable bed and excellent food although no sandwiches or snacks available for hungry travellers after 18:00 when restaurant was full which was also something of a let down

Staff were exceptional, very friendly and accommodating and room was extremely comfortable. Stayed for one night and had the afternoon tea option which kept us both full all evening. Planning on going back at the next opportunity/excuse.
