Just popped in for a quick pint with my 3 dogs, while wife and mother-in-law did some shopping. Received a very warm welcome and was told the dogs were welcome anywhere in the pub. Then the landlord provided lots of very nice treats for the dogs. What a nice touch. 5 stars for the beer, treats and very, very warm hospitality. Fantastic location.

We had a nice lunch and a couple of drinks. Nice food and quite good value. The service was good and friendly. It was a cold day and as we left we noticed the front room and bar. Lovely fire and comfy chairs!

Yet another excellent pub in Skipton. Had a good pint of Timothy Taylor Knowle Spring. My first of this brew. This is a really traditional pub popular for food. A must visit.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all at the Woolly sheep for making our meet up with friends on Saturday lunch time a very enjoyable experience, the food was cooked to perfection, the Timothy Taylors was spot on, the young ladies that were looking after us need a special mention. Well done guys!

We visited for the first time today. A lovely warm welcome, friendly & attentive team and outstanding food. Between us we had the belly pork roast dinner, bangers & mash (which I added a superb Yorkshire pudding to), billionaire cheesecake and salted caramel tart. Nothing but good things to say about all of it. Timmy Taylor Landlord Dark on cask was the perfect pint too. Dog friendly and superb value. We'll definitely be back. Booking advised, it's a busy pub and rightly so.

We stayed for a couple of nights. Really friendly pub conveniently located in Skipton Town centre but with its own parking for guests. Breakfasts and meals were great, rooms were clean, modern and well stocked with amenities. Thanks, Martin and the team. We really enjoyed it and hope to see you soon

Second stay here, lovely pub and restaurant. Our room was modern and well equipped, very clean with a beautiful bathroom. Great central location with a free car park, which is a massive bonus. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Big shout out to (I think) Freddie, who looked after us at breakfast. Very polite and helpful young man who is a credit to both himself and his employer. Excellent all round, thank you.

Only popped in for one drink for mother in law to use toilet. Busy Saturday afternoon, most tables taken. Good atmosphere. Wide range of Timothy Taylor's beers. I had Porter. It was lovely.

A lovely warm welcome. The food was sublime. Will be back again. The best thing no music. Didn't have to fight with hearing aids. But the food was tops. Well done.
